Cheap PC build for MMOS

Like the title suggests, I have spent some months carefully picking parts for a high-end pc build which will ultimately house an RTX 4090. I have built 5x low-mid range systems over the last couple years, so I have some experience with general pc building. However, when it comes to high-end systems, I have some questions. My PC Build Guides - January 2020 I decided I'd keep the simple format for the guides, but again, due to the nature of the setup, it does also lack a bit of explanation, so if you need a breakdown on a guide or whatever, don't hesitate. I've been thinking of making a masterlist of sorts for answering questions on how to build a pc from start to finish, including all of the necessary research prior to building. I've got tons of emails to write and essays to finish, but I figure this is a good way to relax and spend some quality time helping at least a few. While we do allow completely original memes that are related to PC's, PC components and PC building. We do not allow repeated phrases, trend memes or shitposts that lack originality. If a balance in the build cannot be achieved, priority should be placed on the CPU. Since Intel's 12th generation, Intel offers the best performance across all price categories. Even the now-older 12th or 13th gen will generally offer better performance to even the latest, similarly priced CPUs from AMD. So we decided to build a PC with a small budget. Even the entry-level build is kinda out of budget. So I did some research and tried to build something that relates to my PC (at least CPU and RAM) without a powerful GPU (Since I read that the more important thing for productivity is the CPU). So far, I got a Ryzen 5 5600GT and a cheap B550 mobo The main change is the GPU, going up to a 6800 non-XT for the gaming build and a 3070 for the productivity build. I've marked a custom price of 500$ , because that's the max you should pay for either of those cards.

I will start by saying I know absolutely nothing about PC's or gaming on them, literally nothing. I'm still and going to continue to use my Xbox as I like playing big games since I bought it for only $400. Which is alot cheaper then what I would have to spend on a PC to play the same games.
My question is if I wanted to play games like WOW and RuneScape or an MMO of something along those lines how much would it cost for a PC to run those type of games well? I'm not trying to spend thousands so that I can play big games, I already have an Xbox for those kinds of games. If I bought a pre built PC and eventually wanted to make it better is that something you can do with a pre built one? Can you eventually customize it? Do gaming PC go out of date quickly were I would have to continuously buy new parts?

400hrs the game is unplayable now.
the only close "balanced" games are when both teams are two stupid to end and just feed each other.
90% of games are a complete waste of time rout. over 400hrs in this game and I have seen nothing close to this. leavers, mismatched games, feeders... its so bad.
Way to tank your game(oh, i forgot we are supposed to just like and accept it becuase its an alpha).

Jonah seems to like Garrett a lot and considers him a close friend, but it doesn’t seem like Garrett likes Jonah that much, just more or less tolerates him to an extent.

One of my biggest struggles with Schizotypal disorder is My mood affecting the world as a whole, as well as the need to "resist" those thoughts by exerting energy on resisting those thoughts to prevent them from happening, this often leaves me physically drained and exhausted as the thoughts torment me daily. Often multiple time.
For instance. The first thought you may think at random people will think you are a Murderer, a thief, ect and then you will be hated by everyone. You'll get stressed out and try your best to fight that. Only for it to wear you out mentally and then things end up fine later.
You also can ignore thode thoughts which is the right response. Depriving it of its strength to harm you, Before switching to a new fear to attack you with. It happens at least 5-8 times a day. It's torture. And I wonder if anyone else suffers through this type of Issues with Schizotypal Disorder.

2024.11.25 00:51 No-Island-2601 Replacing switch by outlet

I have a switched outlet (old emergency oil circuit) and want to replace the switch by another outlet. There is an easily accessible junction box to put the two outlets in parallel. That's the only thing on the 15 amp breaker and it is all using 12-2 BX cable.
Seems simple enough... Any gotchas to pay attention to? Does code in the US say anything about distance between outlet and floor (do I need to move the 1gang box down)?

I’m 4 months pregnant and I feel like my SO doesn’t care what I’m going through no matter how much I communicate that to him. I’m high risk and scared for this pregnancy and it’s like no matter what, I can’t do anything right.
I explain my back and leg hurt, I’m hurting internally due to hemorrhoids, I’m always tired, I’m having a hard time eating. It’s like it doesn’t matter.
This is my second pregnancy, the first one I gave birth at 19 weeks and lost him. I’ve been depressed but have been seeing a therapist to help cope with grieve.
At this I’m just venting because I can’t even turn to my family without being judge. I don’t want to vent to my friends because they have their own problems.
I feel like I’m the one being blamed for everything yet I’m the struggling one.

It'll apply all the color effects of the shaders but not the actual LCD grid. Switching to the regular MelonDS core the shaders work but if integer scaling is turned on the aspect ratio breaks and tries to fill the whole width of the screen.
Any help?

So recently I've been having trouble with my spoofed Reddit client failing to load data after about 20 minutes of usage.
What you gotta do is repatch with a new Client ID. You do this by making new app in preferences/apps and patching a fresh apk with it, like you normally would.
