i have a 2018 f150 with the 5.0 and the 10r80 trans. about 3 weeks ago I had a service done to the transmission for preventative maintenance (drain and fill + Filter and new gasket). I pulled my mother's camper about 30-40 miles on the highway back home and once I got home I noticed the smell of gear oil/trans fluid. looked under the truck and see a ton of splatter from the transmission gasket leaking and blowing onto everything. seems to be from the gasket as the passenger side of it is wet and the driver side is mostly dry. Since I took it to Ford directly and they put OEM parts in it would Ford warranty the work and replace the failed gasket, or is this on me?

2024.11.25 00:40 herequeerandgreat i think i may have been wrong about 2025 being a not so good year for movies.
i have made numerous posts about how 2025 isn't shaping up to be a very good year for movies due to there only being a few projects that i am passionately excited for. and how 2026 will be a superior year due to the abundance of projects releasing during that year. however, as we get closer and closer to 2025, more projects have been announced for next year that have me slightly more optimistic.
there's guillermo del toro's frankenstein, which is probably going to be what the 1994 film was trying to be but...didn't succeed at. there's spike lee's remake of high and low, one of the best japanese movies ever made. there's the long awaited adaptation of stephen king's the long walk. there's the phoenician scheme, the newest film from one of my all time favorite directors wes anderson. there's wildwoods, the newest film by laika studios. there's grendal, a movie that is adapted from a stellar book, is made by the jim henson company, and stars jeff bridges as the voice of the titular monster. there's night of the zoopocalypse, an animated horror comedy based on a concept by clive barker of hellraiser fame. there's the running man, a remake of one of arnold schwarzenegger's best movies directed by edgar wright.
not all of these movies are confirmed for 2025 releases. however, if they do come out next year, 2025 may be a good year for film after all.

I finally got it last month (October 26) but then I took a plan b November 4th so I got my period again a couple days after that. I’m a young individual who has just completed their associates degree, my AA was entirely paid for by a promise program due to the area I live in, essentially having tax payers pay for my education. Now that I am transferring to university from a CC… my parents don’t want to help me because their taxes go to paying for the CC and they don’t wanna pay the double cost of me attending school. I always swore to myself that I wouldn’t take loans to go into school, but I don’t know now. Is it worth it? Has anyone been in this dilemma? I just need opinions. Thank you

Kind of a feeler post, seeing what options I have outside of being a nuke. Came in with a 93 asvab, got gen waiver, finished basics and was told I’d need to be in holding until my waivers were processed for spec phys. Fast forward, got a debrief for all nukes in holding, said they’d push us through faster and get us to the fleet. Get my appointment, was told they made the decision there. Mind when my waiver was pushed, they heavily recommended me for sub/nuke and I had seen the recommendation myself. Anyways, doc breaks the news to me and I go to rerate. Basically only options were pact or ps, so I of course chose the less miserable of the two. Out of curiosity, is this a wraps on me being a nuke, or is there any chance for me to push for that rerate? I’ll be 22 by the time I’m able to rerate and they haven’t told me hardly anything about any of this. If it is a closed door, what are some good options with positive prospects outside the navy for eas? I’d assume with the asvab I’d have mostly everything available but this has me pretty uncertain. TIA and all advice is very much welcome. I’m a little lost in all the extra buzz that comes with being stuck in holding.
TL;DR: Got dq’d, became ps. What are my options now?

Hey everyone, I've been playing minesweeper for a while, and recently broke 100s on minesweeper hard with a 94.80 second run. That puts me in top 4000 runs of all time. My medium time is 35.44 seconds. The thing is, I play on my phone. I think this is keeping me back from getting much faster times. I almost got a 92 second run, but I misclicked on the second-to-last mine LOL. Has anyone played on both PC and mobile, and what are the differences?
I know that the game is essentially the same regardless of platform, but the control differences force you to think about the game differently. For example, the ability to left and right click on PC is different from mobile where you tap to flag hold to clear a tile (takes a long time).
So other than the obvious differences, has anyone switched platforms or play both? How was the transition?

Right now I've found a workaround by turning off Rated and picking one of the relative settings to ballpark it. But maybe there's a better way?
