I’ve suffered from extremely vivid dreams on and off for years now. They usually relate to something I’ve watched, seen, or something going on in my life. It’s come to the point that I mix dreams and reality up and I spend every day so tired because it feels like I don’t sleep at night. I’ve tried melatonin but it usually strengthens the dream. I’ve been having more nightmares recently and it makes me very paranoid. I’ve tried prozac as an antidepressant that supposedly also helps with vivid dreams (prescribed by a psychiatrist) but it does nothing for my depression and I’d rather have vivid dreams than be sad all the time. Does anyone have any tips on how to make the dreams less vivid or how to stop them completely? I’m so tired and I’m out of ideas, I’ll try anything.

well, i have a crazy story, i will try to tell it in short way, I need some insight to stop me from raging inside and the overthinking. sorry for my english.
so, I F23 met this guy M20 online, let’s call him Eric, he contacted me, because of my fashion page, we would exchange fun texts, nothing serious. He is from the neighbor country, I live close to the border.
and i got to know that his DJ friends will be playing in my country and he is coming too, since he works with them. So I got the event info and decided to go there.
He didn’t know how I look like, it will be the most egoistic sentence now, but I’m a good looking girl, I’m workout so I’m fit, healthy, I have a style, I model often, so idk from that I just lowkey carry confidence in my looks. Sorry if this sounds so narcissistic.
and so when he first met me in person, it felt like he froze and didn’t know what to say, so it was quite awkward. Like he didn’t even properly said hi, didn’t even ask anything, so I just talked with DJ’s and one organizator, and decided to ask organizator where’s backstage so I can walk away from this awkward situation.
I went to backstage and then he showed up and literally sat next to me and didn’t say anything for like 5 mins, so we sat here like statues…….
After this time he asked how I’m doing, I said good and idk we did small talk, then sat in silence again. Then I asked him some stuff but he was stuggling to talk and shtuttering a lot.
But later after event he got a bit more comfortable, but still was kinda weird and then out of nowhere gifted me a teddy bear and tightly hugged me. I was kinda shocked.
Then he seemed sad that I had to leave and gave me another hug. When I left after 20min he sent me a long ass message, how it was special to meet, and he hopes to meet again soon and etc etc..it was long, I thanked him and then he was chatting with me non stop like all freaking day about everything.
Then after couple of weeks, we maintained contact and I was in his country and we had a blast. We met and hangout, had a lot of laugh, he talked a lot and felt more relaxed, he opened up a lot about his family and life, I got to know him deeper and felt connected. Then we went dancing in the fucking rain at park techno party, it was cold and windy, but we didnt care, our shoes were full of water, clothes drained in water, temperature only +5 celcius, heavy rain and idk it was like a movie, he was very caring, often ask am I enjoying and always danced with me, at the last song I took his hands, so we dance by holding hands and party a lot, and he was so happy when I took his hands, idk maybe i’m overthinking this or digging too deep.
When I had to leave he literally hugged me two times and said that this day was insane and thanked me a lot for meeting with him.
Then we were texting and all was nice. And he told me about another event coming up with his DJ friends and invited me, and also invited me for drinks, since he said he has free drinks on the bar.
It sounded cool, idk I was excited, he seemed excited too, he said we gonna have the most amazing evening ever.
And so the evening approached, days before it was all good, he sent me info where I can park my car, he was sending voice texts and idk seemed nice.
But...at the day of event he didn’t text me a single word, didn’t even ask am I on the way or anythig at all. I arrived and texted that I’m here, I went inside and he came by after not so long and gave a dry hug. he was a bit drunkish, but not very. He showed me where I can put my jacket and then when I did, we went downstairs, where was the dancefloor and he walked outside, kinda looked back at me, but didn’t say anything like “hey let’s go outside”, so i didn’t go, bc didn’t want to interrup in case he is going there to talk to someone and just waited inside. waited…..5 mins…i thought ok enough, bought a glass of prosecco and went upstairs to second dance floor where i met some of his friends that i know, met them past saturday. And we started talking and hanging out. One guy of them was super nice to me and talkative, so i enjoyed his company.
After 20-30 min, Eric showed up, but wasn’t even like looking at me, even tho i smiled at him, but he just quickly looked at me and idk, didn’t smile at me, I was confused. Then he left again. And I kept hanging out with his friend. After 10 min he came back, talked with friends a bit, didn’t ask me anything and then went to other side of room to talk to some other people.
And basically he ignored me all event, no drinks, nothing, didn’t spend time with me at ALLLLLL. I felt like I don’t exist to him lol.
After the event he SOMEHOW walked to me and asked how I’m doing, I said good (LIE). And we talked a bit and went to pick up jackets, then he complained that he doesn’t know how he can get home and idk I saw he is kinda drunk, so I said don’t worry I can take you home.
So he was happy about it. We walked outside and I asked for his hand, bc I was in heels and didn’t want to slip on the snow, so he gave me his hand, then we stopped to talk to some friends for couple mins and he kept holding my hand, even tho we were not moving, but anyways, we got to the car, went to mcd, had some food, I brought him home, he thanked me and said hopes to meet again, and said bye, and hugged me.
Then I left and idk I felt like there’s stone on my heart, smth in my throat, just bothering me. I stopped driving. And fucking texted him: “ I really liked you”.
He didn’t open message for 8 hours, but when he opened he sent me some photo of his reflection on the microwave window…with broken heart emojis and one red heart. TF.
I was like: “ I texted this when I left. So yeah. Know about it, laugh about it. I don’t care anymore”. And he just texted like 2 hysterically crying emojis with word “stoppppp”.
TF BRO, I didn’t respond anything to this, bc i’m literally stepped over myself confessing fucking feelings and he gives me these kind of responses?
Then he was hearting all my stores and responding to them in like excited manner, bc i posted some cool stuff. And he was laughing and stuff, acting like i DIDN’T JUST CONFESS MY FEELINGS 5 MINS AGO. WHAT, so I then talked casually too acting like idk, like nothing happened.
BUT I’m not gonna keep responding to him anything anymore ever. Idk. I don’t get it. I’m so sooooo so soso so so confused I wanna scream I wanna run away, I wanna jump off the cliff gosh NO. help. HELPP.
