So my best friend (24f) asked me (24f) last year if I would be her MOH. I obviously agreed considering we have been friends since we were 8. (Off/on but never any beef we just grew up and apart sometimes but always rekindled). Her wedding is Jan 2026 and she has already burnt bridges with 2 other people in the party and they have dropped out as well. She forgot my birthday this year.. she lives in Michigan and I live in NC for work and her brother also lives here.. couple weeks ago I was telling her how sad I’ve been recently, just the isolation from not being home (Ohio) was getting to me and one of my close coworkers had passed away. She told me that she would come down to see me asap.. which she did end up doing but she brought her dog and fiance with her and then I ended up just being a place they could stay on her way to see her brother.. which I guess is fine I just thought when she said she was coming down it was for like a girls weekend and not her just using me as a pit stop on a long drive. She’s in NC for 8 days and only stayed with me for like 10 hours. While she’s here I found out that my grandpa has stage 3 esophageal cancer, when I told her her actual response was “damn” and she then proceeded to tell me that she was so sad because she would not be at home in MI when her new laptop arrived. I ignored her and got on a flight, 48 hours after arriving in Ohio she asked me when I would be in Ohio (she has my location) I told her I was already there and I was flying back to Nc the next day, she acted surprised saying she thought I would be there through thanksgiving and I reminded her I was only here because my grandpa was sick.. she then asked me if I was okay because she didn’t “think it was that serious”.. anyways this has had me upset and she always refers to me as her “maid of honor” and idk feels weird but I just don’t want to involve myself anymore AITAH if I drop out?

Serum ferritin is 86. I’m a nearing 50 female was diagnosed at 24. Was symptomatic and felt awful at the time. My ferritin was over 900. A liver biopsy and genetic testing confirmed hemochromatosis. I was treated for about 3 years every week and then every two, and felt dramatically better. Iwas doing maintenance once or twice a year, but became anemic a few years ago. I haven’t done phlebotomy since. I have other chronic conditions and often feel weak and tired. I frequently feel faint. Brain fog is usually blamed on medications. These symptoms have gotten worse despite my other conditions (CRPS and chronic migraine) being well controlled. My doctors typically blame the other conditions or medications for my symptoms, and now assume perimenopause, but never consider the hemochromatosis because my ferritin is normal. I’m just so tired of being tired and wondering if others feel symptoms with similar labs. I do have a follow up with my hematologist soon. Would appreciate any advice on what to ask.

Season 3 Finale Spoilers ahead So after finishing the season 3 finale I couldn’t stop thinking about the parallels between From and True Detective season 1 with the ritualistic murders, the ancient cursed city of Carcosa, and The King in Yellow. TDS1 has a lot of folklore that I think is wholly relevant to From.
Carcosa is a fictional city in Ambrose Bierce's short story "An Inhabitant of Carcosa". The ancient and mysterious city is viewed only in hindsight (after its destruction) by a character who once lived there.
The King in Yellow refers to a mysterious, cosmic entity, most commonly identified as Hastur; a powerful, unspeakable being linked to forbidden knowledge and a realm called Carcosa. To add to it, the color yellow is often associated with decay and madness.

In Chambers' stories, and within the apocryphal play titled The King in Yellow, the city of Carcosa is a mysterious, ancient, and possibly cursed place. The most precise description of its location is the shores of Lake Hali, either on another planet, or in another universe.
Along the shore the cloud waves break,The twin suns sink behind the lake,The shadows lengthenIn Carcosa.>Strange is the night where black stars rise,And strange moons circle through the skies,But stranger still isLost Carcosa.>Songs that the Hyades shall sing,Where flap the tatters of the King,Must die unheard inDim Carcosa.>Song of my soul, my voice is dead,Die thou, unsung, as tears unshedShall dry and die inLost Carcosa.

The more you dive into these stories, from Bierce, Chambers, and even H.P. Lovecraft, the more you’ll see the similarities.
Additionally, I posted this in one of her either subs first and someone pointed out that the painting in Donna’s room looks like it could be Carcosa, so that further adds to the theory.

I switched to cachyos from mint. I played starcraft on mint by adding battlenet as a non steam game. The graphics were grainy for a while and an update fixed it. I'm having the same grainy issues on cachy but I can seem to fix it. Using am AMD 6800 gfx card. I've tried updating the o s and graphics card drivers and I didn't fix it. It's not a setting. Google wasn't much help..... any insight would help.

I (23F) met really nice guy in the club. It was definitely the vibe for me. I really rare have a vibe with men so it was suprise for me.
I came to him and asked for cigarette. I didnt want to hit on him, just asked for ciagarette because I run out of mine. He started to talk with me and he was really funny. I was drunk so I dont remember everything but I know I kiss him first. From the conversation I know he is bi.
Then suddenly my friend comes up to us and tell me that we had to go because uber is waiting. So I left him without saying bye anything ( remember I was drunk)
After few minutes when we were waiting for jackets I told my friend I had to go back to him and take his numer. I did this but I didnt give him my number.
So I have his number and I wonder, should I text him? I dont even know if he like me. I kissed him first. But I thought he enjoying conversation with me and he bought me a beer. I dont want to be desperate, but cant stop thinking about him. He was different from every man I met earlier. But maybe only I feel this way?
Please tell me what you are guys thinking :)

It’s connected to a 6K cinema-grade camera that shoots in ProRes RAW, which is then downsized to 4K for bandwidth optimization but still runs through a Teranex Standards Converter, obviously. From there, the signal is piped through an SDI switcher with a custom LUT applied because, God forbid, the colors don’t pop. Then it gets sent to a dedicated encoding server, where it’s compressed to H.264 using a hardware-accelerated NVIDIA encoder that we built into a custom water-cooled PC just for this.
But we’re not done. The audio, meanwhile, is routed from lav mics to a Sound Devices mixer that adds analog warmth (because digital is for peasants), then synced with the camera feed via SMPTE timecode. All of this is fed into OBS, which takes it in as an NDI stream, only to re-encode it because why not waste more CPU cycles. Finally, the whole package is output as a 1080p stream for your viewing pleasure because, let’s be real, your Wi-Fi can't handle anything more.

Around 2pm in the northwest part of the state did, did anybody else see them? Two of them heading west. They were fairly far away but if I had to guess they may have been black hawks. If anybody had a better view and could confirm what kind they were would be awesome!
