2024.11.25 00:31 kunpark80 Water pressure fluctuation after replacing water expansion tank
I replaced the water expansion tank in the house and prior to installing, checked the water pressure at the spigot which measured at 63psi. I set the pressure of the expansion tank to match 63 psi, and put everything back together. The water runs fine and no leaks to report
I am noticing now when I first turn the water on, the water pressure is now higher than what it used to be right at the start, but then after 2-3seconds the pressure drops to what it normally used to be before i changed out the expansion tank. Just wondering if I need to do any further pressure adjustments or if this is normal?

Throwaway for obvious reasons but I need help 😭
I (F19) have an ex boyfriend (M21), we dated for about 6/7 months after being friends for two years but I ultimately ended things due to the situation in my life (toxic family, sister's wedding, exam and college stress, financial situation) I wasn't the best girlfriend to him, and I know there were times when my behaviour wasn't fair to him (i.e being so stressed out I emotionally didn't want to deal with anyone else, and that led to me ghosting him for a day)
Now, he and I also have the same very large friend group. We haven't spoken that much in awhile, but despite the fact we broke up in March/April I've still held feelings for him all this time, even when we weren't talking (I mainly tried to give him space so I distanced myself from the friend group as I didn't want to upset him or make him uncomfortable)
I've often thought about reaching out again one on one, to apologise for my behaviour. We ended on good terms (with him even saying "you should put yourself first" and agreeing it was best for the both of us at the time), and even recently began talking again in group settings or one on one for a few minutes while waiting for some friends and it was like nothing had changed between us. Is there any advice on how I can get back with him? Should I even try to get back with him?

People are rightly always concerned about job loss due to AI. The main thought is that AI will replace workers as AI will be cheaper, faster and better. However you can also extend the logic on that and come to the conclusion that it’d replace almost all B2B companies and certainly all SAAS companies. Why pay another company to do something (often at a recurring high cost) when you can just get AIs to do it for you better, faster and suited to your exact needs rather than a generic solution.

I started introducing hard foods back into my diet a week after removing my wisdom teeth on my right side only. I would still often chew on my left side. It has been going fine the last day or two, but today, after chewing some chicken on my left side, I felt a loud and painful crack on my right side where my wisdom teeth used to be, possibly my jaw? It now hurts when I open my mouth too wide. Did I hurt my jaw somehow from eating hard foods too soon? I am now going back to soft foods in the meantime.

I told her, it's okay to not me get anything since I'm going to South Korea next year yet she still got me one. 🥹 She got me the half zip up jacket that I was eyeing. According to SIL, it was a limited edition and was gettng sold fast. She got one of the few last ones and yep, sold out on the KR website.
I can't wait to go to Korea and see LoL park and T1 basecamp and HQ. I'm going in March🤩

In SNAP there are 3 types of cards:
- Growth cards - the cards you use to put up big numbers on your side
- Interactive cards - generally your deck builds around a theme and uses these cards to win in some alternate way than simply putting up big numbers. Ex: Dark Hawk decks, move-disruption decks, affliction decks, clutter decks
- Tech cards - your deck does not have to build around these. They usually swing a lane in a single turn. Ex: Shadow King, Shang Chi, Rogue, Enchantress, Leech, Sandman
For example: a. Beast was nerfed to 3 cost, killing it as a Interactive card enabler, and making it solely good in bounce b. Rockslide was nerfed to 4, taking away his synergies with Misery & Cassandra c. Black Widow was nerfed to an activate, taking away her synergies with Misery and GM d. Scream/KP were nerfed to no longer work with facedown cards, killing their synergy with Juggernaut e. Copycat was nerfed to no longer steal a cards text, removing her synergy with deck shufflers f. White widow was nerfed to no longer work if the enemies side is full g. Clutter cards were generally nerfed in their stat lines
In Marvel SNAP, I love decks built around #2 more than anything and its a shame that many of hte archetypes under it have become so weak. Outside of Affliction and maybe Fenris Discard, its rough right now to build a deck with the intention to interact. Meawhile, IMO its really the Tech cards that are most frustrating as they reduce so many Snap games into a 50/50, and are often luck based on whether you built for the specific threat you will face. In fact, we've recently seen more decks that involve stuffing 7 different tech cards in them rather than true interactive decks built around a theme.
I don't really want to play "build the biggest sand castle" or lose T6 prio so i can Shang/Shadowking. That's not why I come to snap and its a shame that thats what most good decks have been reduced to.

 | My himalayan's belly is greasy. We bathed him twice (a few weeks apart) with Earth bound 2-1 conditioning shampoo that was recommended to me but it didnt do much for his oily belly. We brush out his belly and in a few hours it's back to oily strands. I booked him into a groomers just get it cleaned up for the holidays and seeing the fam but would love suggestions for which shampoo you have to bathe your himmies. We are brushing him daily but not sure how to tackle to belly properly. 2024.11.25 00:31 Confident_History_44 Question about boiling food/fires
My roommate is very into "one-pan meals," which, I get it, they're convenient. I'm not a huge food snob, I could care less what he's eating and I eat my own share of trash. However, it's the way he makes them that's getting me worried.
He starts by putting all the food into a generic 10" nonstick frypan. Usually a chicken breast or kielbasa link, some pasta, and either peas or corn as the veggie. All good stuff.
He then fills the entire 10" pan to the brim with water and boils (not simmers) the whole thing down at full gas on the front right burner until there's zero water left. Throughout the course of cooking but especially early on, the pan will often boil over and now there's these caked-on burn spots around his burner that aren't coming off anytime soon.
I'm a bit of a worrywart by nature and I'm legitimately worried that this is a fire hazard. He does every single dinner like this and refuses to clean both the pan and the area of burnt buildup around that burner. I've expressed my nervousness over it being a fire hazard and he won't change anything. I've suggested a deeper pan to avoid boiling over and asked that he clean but nothing comes of it. Am I being nervous for nothing?
