Hi there, I’m a European planning a big roadtrip across the States. Of course I could just rent a car, but since I‘m planning on stretching out this trip for as long as I can, that will probably get very expensive. Then I thought I could also buy a used car, use it for just the trip and then sell it again when it’s time to leave. Would that be too risky of a move? And if it is actually a reasonable idea, what would be things for me to be on the look-out for? Really hoping on any piece of advice! Thanks in advance

2024.11.25 02:08 RabanastreChurl86 Is it just me, or are Fort Worth streets not being maintained like they used to?
As a motorcyclist, I tend to enjoy smooth streets and have memorized nearly every obstacle in the roads I travel, so i have a good idea of what's degrading. Lately I've noticed that the streets I take to work are almost dangerous to ride on because of broken concrete, manhole covers bulging into the street as high as curbs, potholes, and just generally poor maintenance. On my ride home from work today, I nearly crashed because of a new pothole that was nearly invisible until you were right on it. Other than calling transportation and public works, is there anyone else to reach out to? I see roadworks everywhere but it seems they're fixing streets that didn't really need it in the first place and neglecting thoroughfares like South Drive, Trail Lake, etc.. Thanks for your input!

 | TL;DR: Took my car in for yearly inspection, tire pressure was below spec immediately afterward. Anyone else experienced this? Car is a year old, under 6k miles, kept up with regular maintenance. PSI has always been at spec or maybe within 1 PSI above or below spec regardless of usage or service performed, until now. I could put air in the tire the next time I go out, but I just wanted to make sure I didn't unintentionally overlook a problem/warning sign. Lost a follower. I don't even know what I've been doing wrong. It makes me reconsider what I post. As people can be extremely judgmental. I'm sure some people have extremely contrasting views of sorts on me. I know, as I do have a controversial s/o, and my views on my posts have dropped significantly. Hello, I operate a very small vending business. I really enjoy it and hope to continue when my family relocates to Oahu with the military. My business depends on building relationships with other small business owners and partnering with them. I went to a tradeshow recently and spoke to someone in my industry who had lived on the island many years ago. I have been having an issue with my tpms on the left side, saying the tires are low even after filling them and they show at the correct psi for the car. I took it into a dealership but they said they couldn't find an issue and they best they can offer is to replace the tpms but it will cost hundreds each. I need this for a state inspection so where else could I take my Mercedes?
