So, I was in a store late this afternoon with my daughter when suddenly alarms starting going off. We were at the front of the store checking out when 2 young women came running to the front loaded down with handbags. Each one was carrying dozens of bags. The sensors started going off as they got close to the exit and everyone was watching but no one interferred. It was crazy to see people stealing like this. I've seen videos of this happening but I've not witnessed it in person. The balls these women had to do this amazes me. Anyone else witnessed this type of crime?

My 6yo and I will be in Houston tomorrow and I know he will want to catch the game. The friendly folks in Houston don't seem to understand why we'd want to watch the only NHL team in Texas in a city in Texas. Holy crap i moved to a new place. After expressing i wanted to move out, the male land lord screamed at me for half an hour. I wanetd to sort it out amicably and very nicely with proper genuine reasons and I was honest. but he went berserk and said all sorts of ridiculous things. Couldnt get a word in. Even the lady i had major contact regards to my flatting had to keep quiet and he told her to SHUT UP when she trried to get in A WORD lmao. Ended up crying later because the things he said screaming at me was just crazy. Its only been hours ive actually stayed here. My point of contact was the woman and she was so damn nice. Felt welcome and safe. Boy was I wrong.
Context: Moved in during late evening to the new place so went to sleep, then next day long shift at work. came home and started cleaning up the room, moved around a few things, found more mold. When i showed it, told me it was ink. just to clarify, contacted a few friends and a doctor too to confirm mold. Turns out it is. Told them again, said i was insulting them by saying the room was moldy and dirty. But the room still has cobwebs that was there when i moved in a day ago like Damn, okay. So i just told them i want to move out immediately. I even wrote a poilte letter on the day itself. Its also a flatting agreement not tenancy. theres a clause that says the agreement can be removed with written notice in 14 days from both parties. But bro the man took a pic of my passport. So what to do? I just want to leave this place. Everytime that man moves in the house, I get scared bro.
Among many things he yelled at me with, one ridiculous thing that stuck with was the chair in the room given to me by the lady. man went on to saying i need to give it back and if i want it, it will only be loaned. Double damn, because i work long hours on the PC. Said he needs to say so many other things too and went on to saying rent is nothing to him. but exaggerated the cost of replacing a window. Apparently the guy that was there before had left a window open and it had blown out. How is that related to me? I said ill keep in mind to close it, lmao after he yelled and yelled, bro was like any questions? What questions man I was exausted for the day. Mentally drained. The lady later came to me and said i could move out anytime lmao after that fiasco. Advise me redditors. Lets go. Need help. I am a shy person man.

I'll be 22 when I go. Never traveled by myself before. I'm going to be flying from the Midwest around December-March and stay there for a week.
I don't drink and would just want to walk around and sit on the beach. Would 1.5k-2k (outside of flights, rental and hotel/Airbnb) be enough for eating out and paying to get into places, and maybe buying souvenirs?
Finally, do you guys have any recommendation on what I should do/check out? I'll probably be landing in San Juan and be staying there or near there.

As the title says, I am based in Melbourne, have explored a few highlights in Victoria, but would like to know about great campings in the eastern side.
Would love any recommendation about sights, beaches, forest, free hidden campgrounds, national park daily-trails in the area between Melbourne and Jervis Bay.
Thinking about a chill roadtrip for 2 weeks, I dont care about seeing every main thing in the way, but planning to go as far as Jervis Bay, and then back to Melbourne.
The goal of the roadtrip is to relax and sleep in great places (mostly campings, hopefully free, also AirBnBs a few nights to upgrade from camping only a few nights here and there)
