2024.11.25 02:50 beepbeepbeep8 Extreme Pain While Pumping
This is my second time breastfeeding. My supply is much better this time around, however I’m also exclusively pumping at this point. LO is 3 months old and he has an 18mo older brother who needs lots of redirection during the day so logistically it’s just much easier to pump and bottle feed instead of have the baby attached to my boob so that’s what I’ve been doing.
My nips have finally decided that the pump is too much and I have a horrible rash on both breasts + extreme pain while pumping. Both nipples have been rubbed raw and have finally drawn blood tonight. Pumping is basically literal torture at this point but I can’t just not do it because I’d get mastitis.
What else can I do to mitigate the pain/damage to my nipples during the rest of my breastfeeding journey? A couple days ago I switched to a bigger flange and I’m thinking I may still need to try another size change. I just put lanolin ointment on after pumping for the first time. Other tactics I’ve incorporated over the past 48 hours include:
-let nipples air dry -switch to lowest settings -take longer breaks in between -apply steroid cream to aereolas where rash is
I know it will likely take longer than a couple days for that to do much since I am bleeding and have a rash. I’m just miserable and I dread pumping and I want to do everything I can to heal because this stress and extreme pain is going to tank my supply if it continues long term. What else can I do, and how long does it typically take for nipples to heal from something like this when you have to keep pumping? I went from pumping 6-8 times a day to literally 3 times just to really give them breaks but they are seemingly getting worse and I don’t see myself holding on to breastfeeding very long if this is how it’s going to be long-term, but we also really want to avoid switching to formula or a donor this early because that’s so expensive. I have a backup stash but if I rely exclusively on that and stop pumping then that stash has maybe a month tops before it completely runs out and I really want to EBF for the first six months. Any advice is appreciated. I’m in so much pain and I just want to have some kind of idea of when that will stop.

Just looking at it purely from a money-making perspective, Snow White is not a popular enough IP nor is the story entertaining in a way that would attract modern children. By the time I was a little girl in the early 2000s, she was probably the least popular princess, and her popularity has only dropped since then. I don't know a single kid who would list Snow White as one of their favorites. So even if the casting was perfect, there wasn't a drop of controversy associated with the picture, and it looked well made, I think it would barely break even.
Dipping into 90s nostalgia is obviously the winning strategy. Tarzan, Hercules, and The Hunchback Of Notre Dame would all be bigger hits. Even dipping into the 80s with The Black Couldren or The Land Before Time would have been smarter.

2024.11.25 02:50 Time-Butterscotch350 The BYBE website now rejected every rebate I submitted HELP?
I started signed up website that give me money every beewine I brought. I started last year.
I been buying drink then submit to them with receipt proofs photos. Then last month it stopped when I submitted several rebates. Like about 20 differences purchased.
Next yesterday I keep checking see what happens. Now it said all 20 rejection in row base on violation their terms.
What's your suggestion? Challenge them? Or just walk away and stop using that rebate website again?
I did everything rules to following. Been doing since last year until last month then yesterday say why rejected.
Any of you had that issues?

Ok so I need help. I’m applying and a first year and UNLV and UNR are my top picks for school. I’ve done the pros and cons lists but nothing is making me feel less indecisive. I haven’t toured UNLV but have for UNR and I love how easy it is to get around the campus, but the cold is gonna kill me and so is the the seemingly lack of stuff to do. I’ve applied to both as an international business major and I know that UNLV has a better business program as well as more international and internship opportunities, but it also seems like the worse degree and education out of the two (based on what I’ve read). I’m really leaning more towards UNLV for the networking plus the heat but everything I read is scaring me into thinking I’ll make no friends. I don’t really care about it being a commuter school but I feel like I’ll miss the college experience and largely won’t make friends. UNR has more community and I’d be more able to bond with students and teachers which is like the only reason I’d pick UNR over UNLV. It basically feels more safe. Mind you I’m going into college at 17, so it just feels a bit scary. Please give advice and let me know opinions on what I should consider and do. I was also thinking of going to UNR and transferring to UNLV for my junior year.
