That may seem obvious because so many people tell you that when you’re young, but you don’t realize how true it is until you live it through.
My entire childhood/teen years I was a shy girl that dreamed of being part of a big group of friends like those popular kids that walked around school. I had dreams of working with exotic animals and having a boyfriend that loved me. I wanted to travel near and far.
Somehow, I got all of that without realizing it. I’m an outgoing social butterfly now. I have so many friend groups filled with amazing people. I’m about to fly to South Africa to work with large cats for two weeks. I’m about to graduate college. I have a boyfriend that looks at me with eyes filled with love.
I was so caught up with the chaos of life that I didn’t even realize who I wanted to be as a kid is who I am now.
So I guess, romanticize your life a little bit more and realize how far you’ve come. It’s hard to look past the hardships and appreciate the good parts, but recognizing I’m actually achieving a lot despite all of that has made me appreciate life a little bit more.

When I was little, on the early to mid 80's I stumbled on a movie that was likely being broadcast on network during the day. My guess is the movie was from the 60's or 70's because it was in color but kinda grainy and grey.
The scene I remember is a family flees into a secret passage (I think behind a fireplace) and they are fleeing Nazis? I think.
There is a booby trap or pit they were supposed to jump over but the little girl doesn't make the jump and smacks the wall of the hole and leaves a blood stain. I think they have to leave her behind and continue fleeing.
Any thoughts?

2024.11.25 02:30 Mr-JoeCool Am I cooked?
Next Tuesday mid morning, I have scheduled my 3rd attempt at the s65.
For some context, my first attempt I got 80/130 and on my second attempt I got 91/130 (so 1 away from a pass…).
This time around I switched to Kaplan instead of STC and have significantly stepped up watching some of the resources from Series 7 Guru. I feel like both those new resources have actually helped quite a bit although they seemed much more difficult at first because the depth and specificity of the questions were much more detailed.
So far, in the Qbank I’m through ~1700 questions at ~66.5% avg score…with that said my last 6 simulated exam scores have been 67.14%, 67.14%, 68.57%, 68.57%, 70.71% and 70.71%.
(No I’m not kidding the incremental increase in scores is odd but encouraging that some targeted studying in between simulated exams is having an effect.)
Tonight I took the ‘practice exam’ which is the fixed one like the mastery…and bombed at ~58.5%. I felt like I was still narrowing questions down to a good 50/50 choice but the score still stings this close to the exam.
I’m thinking tonight I’ll take the mastery one as well even if the score is low just to get exposed to the questions to help some targeted studying on specific units going into the final 24-48 hours. Anyone have any advice? Am I cooked? I feel generally like I know what I’m doing going into it this time but the gap I was hoping to have in my scores isn’t reflecting it. Thanks in advance for any insight!

 | Trying E:D after a loonnngg break, I tried Odyssey at launch and it seriously put me off E:D so badly I have not been back. I fired it up today and getting a pretty steady 144 fps even on foot. So trying to tweak my setup again, mustering the courage to do the on foot crap and trying some AX. Some of the new updates like power pay have me thinking try again to get back into ED. Anyone have advice how to fix extreme distortion for x3 screens 7680x1440p? I tried setting ini FOV to even 90 degrees not much better. I know I can use VR but much prefer x3 screens. I could set the menus to pop center screen but really want them on the side ... gee why the heavy distortion? I have TrackIR and even though I have VR not really interested, just want x3 screen without the bad fisheye effect. 2024.11.25 02:30 NoParking9585 2014 Coleman ut500 will not start (most of the time)
Ok so asking for a family member who received a free Coleman (I believe) ut500 and I’m pretty sure it’s a 2013-2014. Ran fine for a few months then all of a sudden became hard to start. Would start only in the first few cranks if you had the throttle wide open then eventually wouldn’t start at all. I did some trouble shooting and it has spark, has fuel and has compression. I replaced the fuel filter and had already replaced the air filter before this problem started. While trouble shooting I unplugged the injector (after cranking for a while) and could get it to fire but it would obviously only fire a few times with the injector unplugged. Injector plugged back in it would not even try to fire. To me that seemed like the injector was stuck wide open and by unplugging it it would finally stop getting flooded enough to fire. In my opinion that also supports the holding wide open thing at first ie it would be getting enough air with the throttle blade open. The injector was replaced and it fired and ran ok a few times but pretty much immediately went back to the same thing. They took it to a mechanic who replaced a few sensors and another injector with no luck. My question is would the next most likely part be the computer or whatever drives the injector? If so is there a way to diagnose it properly or would replacing it be the only option. If so any leads where to get one new or even used? Any help or input at all would be appreciated.
