Lately I've been having my pre-scheduled hours disappear randomly. I haven't noticed any pattern to when it happens, but occasionally when I go to do the hours I had scheduled the week before and also kept track of on my personal calendar, I find that the hours are no longer scheduled. Has anyone had this happen to them, or know a way to avoid it happening?

I am young (23) and am consistently putting money into my TFSA, I have an emergency fund, and no debt. I am interested in taking on more risk in my TFSA investments as it seems my situation is ideal for that. What are some ways I can increase risk to potentially gain higher return? Right now I only invest in ETF’s, are there ETF’s with higher risks? Are single stocks the way?

I’m so fed up right now. My company just announced that they’re increasing our mandatory work hours by 5 hours a week—without any additional compensation. They called it a “temporary adjustment to improve productivity,” but we all know that’s corporate-speak for “we’re exploiting you even more.”
Let me break it down: I’m already working 40 hours a week, plus the occasional “optional” overtime that doesn’t really feel optional when your boss is breathing down your neck. Now they’re tacking on an extra hour every day, and they’re not even pretending they’ll pay us for it. They claim it’s covered under our salaries.
The worst part is, they framed it like we should be grateful. “This shows your dedication to the team and our company’s success.” Excuse me? I’m supposed to be grateful for losing more of my time while the execs sit comfortably at home counting their bonuses?
I’ve talked to my coworkers, and everyone’s pissed, but we’re stuck. They know most of us can’t afford to quit right now. Rent is sky-high, groceries cost more every week, and good jobs are hard to come by. They’ve got us backed into a corner, and they know it.
This isn’t just about the hours; it’s about the principle. How can they take more from us and act like it’s no big deal? Our time is valuable, too. It’s exhausting, it’s demoralizing, and it feels like no one cares.
Has anyone else been hit with something like this? How do you push back without losing your job? Because I’m seriously at my breaking point. Something has to give.

2024.11.25 02:30 randopop21 Black POE doorbell camera - app gets "Device Disconnected" after adding RSTP/ONVIF
I have a black POE doorbell camera that worked well for a few hours. But after I turned on HTTPS and RSTP/ONVIF the cellphone app reports "Device disconnected".
I use HTTPS so that I can remotely adjust the camera's settings from a PC on the same network as the camera.
And I enabled RSTP/ONVIF so that an NVR can see and save the video streams (main and sub). By the way, I'm happy to report that ONVIF works on the little doorbell camera.
I can't for sure link the turning on of HTTPS and RSTP/ONVIF to the app losing connection, however. Maybe it's a coincidence?
The camera is new and the firmware is up to date.
The odd thing is that the doorbell camera continues to work. Because ONVIF is on, I can see it from the NVR. I can web into it via HTTPS. So the camera is still alive. But the app reports that it's disconnected.
I have done a reset to factory defaults and went through the whole setup process and the camera was seen on my cellphone app again. Thinking all was well, I once again turned on HTTPS and RSTP/ONVIF and shortly afterward, the cellphone app reported the disconnection again.
I am loathe to reset it again because I have to take the camera down, hit the reset button (and I'm not always on site) and then go through the setup again. But maybe I should do that and see if remains connected for a long time until I turn on HTTPS and RSTP/ONVIF.
Anyone else have ONVIF running and am able to reliable connect to the camera via the app?

im new to plants & i got this spider plant a few weeks ago & slowly each leaf has been turning yellow/brown & dying! i didn’t repot it, just placed it in a larger pot & water in the sink to let all excess water drain out about once a week.
the only thing i can think of is that my apartment is SUPER low light, so i purchased the grow light seen in these photos & attached it just now in hopes of saving it.
is there anything else i may be missing?
the last photo shows how much light the area is in gets during peak daytime & how it looked when i first brought her home.
this is the only spot in my apartment i can put it as of now where it will get any light & also be safe from my cats.

 | Trying to decide on which Fenix 7 Pro SS I want to keep and would like some opinions. 42mm vs 47mm. 42mm is more similar in size compared to the Forerunner 235 I'm upgrading from but the battery life on the 47mm is very enticing. The 47mm also feels like more of an "upgrade" from the 235, maybe due to the larger screen and even beefier look from the thicker metal bezel. Any thoughts on the look of each? The 42mm looks like a normal watch and will not stick out IMO. Both feel just fine. Does the 47mm look to big from a practical standpoint? My only real other concern besides looks is HR accuracy (I know, chest straps are more accurate) but is this watch large enough for that to be an issue on my wrist?
