Hi! I am a cognitive science major currently working on getting my undergraduate degree! I am loving every part of this degree so far but I am really struggling in linguistics, particularly with morphology and syntax. I was wondering what fields of linguistics are most focused on in cognitive science? From what I gather it seems to be morphosyntax and semantics but I wanted to ask somebody with a background in cognitive science. If I am not particularly good with the hard details of linguistics will that get me into trouble in the future? Did anybody else struggle with linguistics, and if so, how did you manage to get a better understanding of it? Does anybody have any recommendations on further readings in linguistics and its role in cognitive science so I can zero in on the most relevant aspects of linguistics? Thanks!

I had a previous post regarding this subject, but I last used on Tuesday around 1 AM. I’ve been using for about a week sometime this week probably Tuesday or Wednesday. I’m gonna have to test but this is a lab test and I believe they’re different than a regular just pee in a cup store-bought test like they’re gonna test for metabolites everything because I previously failed one of these tests after being clean for eight days, but it was heavy use I can’t one of my careers over. Yes I’m in recovery. Yes, I’ve tried everything. I’ve been at this for five years now probably 98% of the time, but does anyone know what the difference between a lab test is how long the meth can stay in your urine for and if there’s anything that can get it out quicker if they’re testing for metabolites

I talked to him and he is stuck invulnerable and casting summon friend spells every turn but nothing is summoning. I went through his portal and there was a darkness army and I killed everything but Thaniel is still back at his house invulnerable summoning random shit that never materializes. No mods, honor mode, wtf? Any solutions?

It keeps getting worse and I have so much anxiety about it because I’m worried something is wrong with me. But at the same time I’m annoyed that it feels like my partner doesn’t really do anything great to get me in the mood and it’s starting to get really boring and repetitive. He’s not really a romantic person and I am very. It’s always right before we go to bed and I’m super tired and he’ll just start feeling me up but we don’t talk at all during. I’m just not into it, I’m not excited to do it anymore. I actually dread it. I kinda just feel I’m there to get him off, yes he gives me oral and I do finish most of the time but it still feels like it’s for his benefit. We have zero communication when it comes to heavy topics, I’m actually really good at it and have been with other partners, but he never brings anything up and it makes it even harder for me to do so, and from the past it always just seemed like it was dreadful for him to talk about things and kinda felt like talking to a brick wall. I’m scared even to talk about stuff I’m having issues with because I don’t want to stir disagreement or make things super awkward. Sometimes I worry it’s just who he is but it’s been hard to accept the fact it might not work when you still love someone. Is there something wrong with me? Should I just be able to get turned on like a light switch? Can this happen when other things in the relationship aren’t going well and it makes the sex suck? I feel guilty because I don’t want to put all this pressure on something to get me into the mood and I want to be the one initiating sometimes but I wouldn’t be turned on doing it it would just be forced on my side. He doesn’t surprise me, take me on or plan dates, I kinda do all that.

the title was probably off putting but no this isn’t urgent but i just need help with finding my purpose i know no one can do that but me but i just need advice to keep going, i have never been extremely good at anything and any attempt to master anything just results in me quitting it. i lack the motivation to do things i even that i like and i don’t know what to do going forward I’m 15 and i have ADHD thats the reason why that i cant stay on one subject but I’ve also tried everything and i don’t know what to do honestly i wish i could just master something and stick to it but anytime anything gets hard i just quit it. I know what my passion is and i know what i love already but i cant figure out how to actually do it thats the problem I’m stuck, everyday feels like a waste i never learn anything new no matter how much effort i put in and it sucks honestly. thank you for your effort in reading this
