2024.11.25 03:31 mi_sh_aaaa thoughts on using LLMs to learn basic concepts
Hey guys, I've recently began going a bit deeper into C++, using multithreading, hashing, and other slightly more advanced tools from std, for my project. However, I find that whenever I run into an issue, (as an example mutexes being uncopiable, and classes that include a mutex also become uncopiable, which I didn't know), I find it so convenient to press windows C, copy paste my .h, .cpp, and the error and ask copilot what's wrong. 9/10 times it gives me a solution that works, and I pretty much always just go with it. I also read the explanation it gives me for the error to get an understanding. I never use copilot to write logic for me, but using it to learn new tools seems to have been very efficient. Do you guys think this is a lazy approach that could cause me issues in my upcoming C++ internship this spring, or do you guys think this is a reasonable use of AI?

i haven’t looked into this much but whenever i go a long time without sleeping and try to sleep i hear voices, gunshots, explosions, laughing, animals, etc. it feels like my body is being pulled up and pushed down. i feel extremely Euphoric when it happens. anyone have any similarities?
