I have gained back 11 pounds in 2.5 months being off it. I’m so stressed and all I can think about is food. I know right? Shocker. I, a rep 140, am being paired with people who are rep 600, 700, etc. “its your mmr.” Fuck you. That shit practically doesn’t matter. I really want to like this game like I did before, but the devs don’t care about what anyone thinks. You wanna know how I know this? Because the community has been begging for pirate and vg to be nerfed and its been silence still. I know im speaking into the void here, but it just makes me mad. Give a shit about your game, then maybe people will like it. Im also mad people said the destiny event is gonna bring new players, when there has been basically 0 new players whatsoever. Even people who like destiny don’t care about for honor. So saying, “stop being ungrateful about the destiny event, it’s nothing but healthy for the game” is utter idiocy. I want the devs at Ubisoft to lock the fuck in or else their studio goes down. They probably deserve it considering their shitty decision making. I love the game to bits and pieces, so it makes me sad seeing it in this state. I wish things were better.

I'm on sub right now with my second book with my agent (First book died on sub after 2 years), and we've been on sub with the new book for about 6 months or so. I thought we were doing okay and still felt hopeful, as we've been getting very detailed, positive, and complimentary rejections, and still have several editors who expressed interest and are considering it. Been doing my best to not let the dread of dying on sub again sink in.
But then I stumbled upon this sub with so many people with so much more experience and success having a book sell and saw people talking time and again about "second reads." I've never gotten a "second read" that I know of, over the last two year sub or this one. Or if I have, the editor never mentioned it (Would they mention it? or only if the agent is nudging them?).
Should I be concerned? Does that mean my books have never even passed stage 1 with editors? Is second reads always part of the process?
I assumed I was just having a normal sub experience of "submit, wait, get a pass or fail" but now I'm wondering if I'm having a particularly bad sub experience and I should start reconsidering some things if everyone is rejecting me on first opinion

I am 23f and I'm gonna be homeless soon.
I am autistic and I suffer from other health issues as well. 2 months ago, I had a severe migraine that wouldn't go away and made me quit my job. Due to that, I've been unable to pay my rent.
I've been applying for a new job and even thought about moving out of state, but thankfully, I just found a new job here in Boston. So I just need to figure out where to stay until I can get back on my feet.
I need recommendations on any homeless shelters in Boston that can accommodate me. Or even churches. I have no problem abiding by their rules.
I've never been homeless before and I'm terrified about how I'd survive the winter.
Any suggestions or advice at all will be really appreciated.
