Can anybody tell what kind of frog this is?
Poor little thing managed to get into my basement, and decided to occupy the sumpit. It has been at least 6 months now, didn't starve to death, guess there are enough bugs in my basement. But it's going to be a dark and lonely life in there, miserable in my point of view. I can scope it out but

  1. Not sure if I can be gentle enough to not hurt it
  2. It's not winter yet, but cold at night (Central NJ, around 30Fs at night), can it survive at this temperature?
Should I get it out? Or leave it be?

helloooo I’m looking for a supportive outlet or people that are going through similar journeys. tomorrow will be day 5 for me. I’ve been vaping for 7 years and I’m thinking kids are in my future soon and just got the sudden urge to quit. it’s been easier than the last time but still get cravings. My symptoms of quitting that I’m dealing with right now are -increased hunger -gassy / increased bowel movements -falling asleep quickly but waking up multiple times every night..
Other than that I’m feeling pretty okay so far. I’ve been chewing on gum or sucking on mints and I also got a menthol inhaler I sniff to help cravings. I did quit cold turkey not doing the patch or Nicorette.

I have 5 loop bands each providing a maximum tension when stretched to their optimum lengths 2 kg, 5 kg, 8 kg, 12 kg, and 15 kg. I plan to tape them together and pull them at the same time. My question is how much tension will they provide when stretched simultaneously? I’m trying to understand how the tensions from each band will combine when they are pulled in parallel. I believe that when multiple bands are stretched in parallel (meaning they are all stretched together) the total tension should be the sum of the individual tensions from each band. So, if each band can provide 2 kg, 5 kg, 8 kg, 12 kg, and 15 kg of tension, the total tension would be 2 kg + 5 kg + 8 kg + 12 kg + 15 kg, which equals 42 kg. Is this the correct way to think about it, or am I missing something? My friend asked me this, and I want to give them an accurate answer. Any help would be appreciated

Hey,
I left an employer earlier this month which I worked with for a year. I found the employer very difficult to work with and the work environment toxic so I decided it was time for me to leave.
Before leaving it was agreed that I wouldn't take any holiday during my notice and I'd be paid all my unused annual leave after finishing with them.
I've now received my final payslip and my p45 and there was no inclusion of my unused annual leave. What should my first next steps be? I'm tempted to just go straight to acas as I've had nothing but issues with this employer being difficult with things in the past. It is in my contract that I should be entitled to the pay of unused holiday after end of employment.
I would contact the hr, but there is no hr. And it seems bizarre that they wouldn't include this payment on my final payslip and send me my p45.
