2024.11.25 05:00 HickMarshall Is there a path for both Tulane and Boise State to get a bye in the CFP?
For example:
This weekend: Miami loses, Clemson loses, the 2 highest ranked Big 12 teams lose (likely ASU and Iowa State), Tulane wins, Boise St wins.
Championship week: Tulane wins the AAC, Boise wins the MWC, Clemson wins the ACC, lower ranked team wins the Big 12.
In this scenario I believe we could see the winners of the MWC and the AAC ranked higher than the winners of the Big 12 and ACC. So would they both get a bye? Is it possible the ACC champ or Big 12 champ miss the CFP altogether?

2024.11.25 05:00 IndependentWord9399 Question regarding a failed application + Appeal process for psychological interview.
Around 3 days ago I failed my Psychological assessment, (background info I am 17 and trying to enlist at 18, have finished VCE and graduated, and worked part-time consistently for 3 years). I had a bout with mental health issues around 13-14 years old, and I admitted to the interviewer that since then, I had taken non-corrective, supportive counselling/therapy a few times. I was told by the interviewer that this was indicative that I showed "no resilience" in my life. I was also questioned on my bodyweight which is well above the BMI limits. The psychologist did not give me any direct advice other than I simply do not seem ready. He directed me to either try again, or appeal the decision via "building a case for myself". I am quite lost on the appeal process and what I should be doing to build a case for myself, nor do I have any idea how this appeal should be written.
i've heard word on a template for appeals, and some other assistance in the process but i have absolutely no idea what to put in this appeal (evidence wise), how i should conduct myself in it, and who to contact
Any advice at all would be extremely appreciated.

2024.11.25 05:00 TitsMcghehey Here's why Tekken 8 will win Fighting Game of the Year at TGA 2024
Tekken 7 was nominated in 2017 but didn't win. A LOT has changed in 7 years.
*Tekken 7 went on to become the highest selling game in the series and one of the best selling fighting games of all time
*Due to the commercial success of the game, TWT, streaming and collaborations, interest in the series was renewed and it entered public consciousness again.
*A lot of effort has been made to demystify the game by releasing translated patch notes, more training tools and in-game frame data.
*Harada started tweeting in english around 2019/2020 and became one of the most followed and recognizable Japanese developers. He also started networking a lot within the industry, appearing at all sorts of events and became close with TGA host Geoff Keighley.
*The TWT finals is happening a week before TGA.
The profile of the series has increased dramatically and being popular is always good when it comes to mainstream award shows. People see Sparking Zero as the main threat in the category but Dragon Ball was always incredibly popular and doesn't need the extra recognition. Licensed gamed also aren't favored as much at these awards. Both T8 and Sparking Zero are published by Namco and I'm sure they prefer T8 to win because it's their original IP and could benefit more from the exposure a TGA win would bring.
Most importantly, I think TGA want to honor Tekken's long lasting legacy which will turn exactly 30 years old in December. Harada will almost cetainly be in attendance. To turn around a legacy series that was at the brink of death also needs to be applauded and I'm sure it hasn't gone unnoticed what an unlikely comeback the series has made.
In conclusion, I don't think Tekken 8's momentum for a TGA win could be any better.

Hey all, was presribed gabapentin for nerve pain but hoped it would help anxiety too, I've worked up from 100mg-1800mg over the past 8 weeks and it hasn't done anything but make me tired. Wondering is it worth trying pregabalin or are they essentially the same?

So Rockstar announced the game for "2025" right? They (Rockstar) publicly and in marketing material, never clarified on which date the game come would out. Take 2, the parent company, is who actually told to (investors) that they "narrowed" it to Fall 2025
I'm thinking Rockstar would say something at least, by Dec 31st / Jan 1st week to further confirm the date publicly.
I mean, the website and posters and marketing still say "2025", it'll be really odd for it let it stay so even after entering 2025.
So I expect Screenshots / Trailer 2 / maybe even a tweet about the progress of GTA 6

I have now had two instances where I've withdrawn Bitcoin to two separate wallets from Coinspot.
When I have received the Bitcoin into these wallets, it appears I have been charged an extra hidden fee equivalent of the withdraw fee. So I am being charged the fee twice.
Note: This is after taking the withdraw fee into account. When I look at my transactions it shows withdraw amount after the fee. Then when I receive it, it's as if I'm being charged the fee twice but the second fee is hidden.
