2024.11.25 05:20 MCsRedditAcct Is the mobo and RAM I picked up today along with my 9900x compatible and/or the best choice for the CPU?

Questionnaire Below.
Context: Took a drive to the semi-local meekro center because the 9900x was down to $359 vs 382 from NewEgg and Amazon. (plus I could have it today and the Amazon driver wouldn't frisbee it onto my porch from the street) Found mobo and RAM cheaper, so probably going back to Microcenter for match/return (keeping CPU, wasn't bundled).
RAM: Wanted corsair vengeance (just used to it), and he suggested the teamgroup instead. He said they're the only ones that certify their RAM with both Intel and AMD, and that this specific model was designed for AMD. I was updating my parts list to have a look-over anyway, and then noticed the RAM and mobo are cheaper on Amazon (219.99 vs 170.99) and NewEgg (239.99 vs 219.99) respectively. Noticed the RAM was XMP and didn't see anything about Expo and got a little nervous with the switch.
Mobo: Also noticed some negative and conflicting reviews on the mobo. Picked because 4x M.2 and 4x Sata. Wanted 6-8 SATA, but boards with 4x M.2 + 8 SATA limited and way more pricy. Figured if really needed it this board has extra PCIe slots and could throw a SATA card in if needed. Reviews made me unclear on if it supports one-click overclocking which would be good for me, but also advanced for if/when I figure out what I'm doing. But probably won't OC until it's time to upgrade again in a few years.

So, i might delete this post later because I don't want it to linger on the innerwebz
I've had a YouTube channel for a few years. I'm a Partnered Twitch streamer, but for a long time I've wanted to make the switch to mainly doing YouTube content. Until now, for the most part I used YouTube as a place to park stuff from Twitch. But, I had done some YouTube-specific stuff before.
I quit streaming a couple months ago and started working on a video. I worked really hard on it for a couple months and was really excited to release it. In the first 3 days it broke 1,000 views and got me about 20 subs. I was happy with that! Then I looked at the like:dislike ratio... 82% Likes. It devastated me. The past two days I've been so down about it. I was gonna work on a new video this weekend, but i just don't see the point. Like, it seriously sent me into a severe depression (well, that and other things going on).
This disappointment is kind of based on the understanding that a good Like% is >90%. Is that just totally unreasonable for me to have that expectation at my level? I really do think this video was well done! I was really proud of it. I still am.
It's also possible there may have been some troll bombing happening because of issues I've had with a few people in the past.

2024.11.25 05:20 MonochromePsyche Moderate to severe calf pain for days - apparently not DVT

26 asthmatic female, taking venlafaxine, desogestrel, levothyroxine, omeprazole and fexofenadine daily. Taking metoclopramide, co-codamol (for migraines) and reliever inhaler as needed, quite infrequently. UK if it matters.
I've had this twinge in my calf on and off for the last 5~ days or so, I thought it was a pulled muscle or something as that's what it felt like at first and didn't think much of it. It would only hurt when I was standing or walking and would feel better when I sat or lay down. However on Friday night the pain became pretty bad, to the point I was limping and crying out from the pain.
My leg has no visible signs of any issue, no wounds, no swelling, no discoloration or temperature difference compared with my other leg. As I am fatigued a lot of the time and currently unemployed (awaiting referral to go through to the chronic fatigue service), I'm not physically active at all, and spend most of my day sitting. This with the increased pain made me start to worry I might have a blood clot, so I got an out of hours GP appointment on Saturday morning.
At the appointment, the doctor examined both legs, took some of my vitals and said apart from a low fever of 38.2 celcius, there didn't seem to be anything wrong with me. Both legs look outwardly the same, none of the signs you'd usually expect to see with a DVT or clot. She sent me home and advised I take some paracetamol and rest as I might be coming down with a viral thing that could be causing me muscle aches.
Apart from the calf pain and slight fever, I have no other symptoms; no sore throat no runny nose no cough or aches anywhere else in my body. And I always feel quite tired so that's normal for me, I didn't even realise I had a temperature as I felt completely normal aside from the pain. It is now monday morning and the only change since that appointment has been the pain has gotten slightly worse. Paracetamol kind of helps but not completely, I am still hobbling around and going up or down stairs is pretty agonising.
I'm not really sure what to do, I will probably try to make a routine GP appointment as soon as I can but I just hope I don't have to wait that long as this pain is very difficult to deal with. The pain is constant, even lying or sitting down is painful and walking or standing makes it worse. The precise location of the pain is like mid calf, halfway between the knee and ankle, with the pain radiating down the ankle a little. My toes are the same temperature on both legs so it seems like the circulation is okay. There is also no difference in texture of the skin on both legs.
I have been madly googling what this might be, mainly just to try and gauge if this is something urgent or not. But not confident any of the results fit my symptoms right. I mainly would just like some advice as to what I should do at this point, stretching the muscles just make the pain worse, and there's no position that's comfortable for me at the moment. Would be grateful for any responses, thank you in advance.

2024.11.25 05:20 hyura_png Rapsodo MLM2PRO vs Garmin R10 for a budget launch monitor to use at the range?

There are a fair number of threads on asking this but many of them are quite old (with some comments hoping for software updates to improve bugs) or focused on indoosimulator play.
Anyone with recent experience with either or both of these have a fresh opinion on which is better?
I would most likely be using this at the driving range 90% of the time, though I do have an indoor net.
From what I've seen, more commenters on various threads have recommended the MLM2PRO, with the subscription and connectivity issues being the 2 main complaints. A lot of threads mentioned a $200/year subscription but seems like it's only $100 now? Screenshots of the app look fancier.
Garmin R10 software seems more stable from reviews I've seen but feels a bit older, software and tech just look a bit outdated in comparinson.
But it also looks like R10 has some extra metrics like club face angle, club path angle, angle of attack, while MLM2PRO doesn't. But from what I read it's not measured just calculated based off of the same measured metrics that MLM2PRO also has.
To be honest I am kinda leaning towards MLM2PRO because the software looks fancier, but wondering if someone might convince me otherwise. The extra metrics & no subscription is the main draw for the R10.
Also open to other options though it doesn't really look like there's many choices lol
