Hi, everyone! I'm here looking to make new friends. I always seem to be better friends to other people than they are to me, so hoping to make some genuine friendships.
A little about me: I'm 32 and very chill. I would describe myself as an introvert who enjoys meaningful conversations. I enjoy reading, writing, anime, manga, and gaming. I have a gaming laptop and PS5 that I play on here and there, but I mostly play solo games and non-shooters. I'm currently taking online classes, which has cut my gaming time. That being said, a few games I have really enjoyed are God of War series, Ghost of Tsushima, Skyrim, Solasta, Rockband 4, Final Fantasy, Assassin’s Creed, Yakuza series, Heavy Rain, and Detroit: Become Human. I have dabbled in several MMORPG games over the years as well.
I also like cooking. I'm always looking for new recipes to try, and I really enjoy mythology, Greek in particular. I love animals and nature, and fishing is something I enjoy but haven't done in a while.
For TV and films, I mainly watch true crime, documentaries, fantasy, crime, thrillers, and I have begun exploring horror as long as the plot is solid. I'm always open to good anime recommendations. Music wise, I listen to everything except pop and electronic.
Overall, I'm pretty open-minded, non-judgmental, and a good listener. I have a good sense of humor that leans towards sarcasm, but never in a malicious way. In person, I'm pretty quiet, but open up once I get to know people. I like to observe because I feel you can learn more about people. I enjoy thought-provoking conversations, but I am willing to talk about mundane things as well. Politics and religion are my two do not discuss topics.
I hope to make some new friends to chat with regularly, have some great conversations, or pass the time having fun. I'm always up for good company and will talk to anyone who makes an effort to talk to me. I'm in the Central Time Zone.

2024.11.25 06:29 Simple_Ad3485 Pc app being as difficult as ever
So reset my laptop clean, everything gone. I got windows up and running and downloaded the meta quest link app and it said I needed to download drivers. So I download the most recent invida drivers and that didn’t work. It’s still saying I need to download them. I restart my laptop, I deleted the app and re-downloaded it, I downloaded the specific drivers it was saying I needed, I downloaded drivers in a different way, I signed out and signed back in, I repaired it. I did everything that was physically possible to do and it still doesn’t seem to think it has the drivers. I can’t connect my quest 3 to the laptop because of this so I guess I’m fucked?

So I need some help, I am looking to do a gaming set up. I want to have a gaming set up in the living room in the corner. I am going to buy a 65 inch tv but I also have two 29 inch monitors that I want to hook up as well to have all 3 but I want them mounted on the same mount or at least connected together. How would I do that? I want to be able to hook up via HDMI, I want my PS5, Xbox, Laptop & mini desktop to hook up to all of it.. in your opinions, what would be the best way to do this? I am also going to buy an L shape gaming desk. What connections will I need? & any recommendations are appreciated!

I'm an ALT and in my elementary school, I'm assigned to a class for lunch and cleaning time. During lunch prep, I chatted with students about food. This class is learning about food names in English already, so it was another way for them to practice what they learned in class. The class was also excited to chat with me and use what they learned. But I was told by the teacher to not speak lol.
I'm wondering, what's the point of me being assigned to classes during lunch and cleaning if I should be silent during those times? I figured I was assigned to classes during lunch and cleaning to talk with the kids, practice communicating in English, etc. The silent lunch and cleaning is common in my schools.
Has it always been like this? I heard that silent lunch became common during the pandemic.

Then yesterday he told me to go on my 15 min break and I accidentally left my light on and I came back and he said in a secretive tone “are we smoking again , then he said (his name) said to behave “😂, later that day I was doing the same thing with him this time in ghetto electronic section long story short over heard him taking with an associate basically saying I don’t get paid enough to care and laughing about it.
