I have applied for two positions at deloitte india I got an email on 13th of november stating they have reviewed my profile and wanted me to fill a survey for further process and if my profile is selected I will get an email with a test link by 18th of November which I eventually got on the mentioned sate and I have immediately attempted the test and after completion of the test I have received another mail stating complete the test by 20th of November which I have already done. so it's been 7 days since I attempted the test and 5 days since the deadline they have given to complete the test.The test was a versant test for English communication. So when can i expect any updates regarding the further process of recruitment it will be helpful if someone can let me know.

I'm a type 2 diabetic, not on insulin (on Ozempic currently), numbers are well controlled. I eat 30-50 grams of carbs a day. Whenever I go for a walk or work out, my blood sugar drops steadily at the rate of about 2 points per minute, and if I am not careful I can end up in a severe low. Is this common for all diabetics, and how do you deal with it?

Hi fellow auscorp hive,
Before we start I want to preface - I'm not looking for reason here because it's Linkedin.
In September I was made redundant, 18 months into a role that I was headhunted for. They shat the bed when it came to strategy and my role and never given the tools to succeed. The organisation only focused on the month-on-month targets with little to no product, client or solution development (my area). Under the guise of a corporate restructuring, I, along with a few others, were walked to the minimum amount.
The good news is I've landed a new role at a great organisation, one that shits on my predecessor in terms of reputation, role and clients. So I want to be petty. I want to do the cringe LinkedIn post with a bit of dig to them, something that might make those who left chuckle.
I could take the high road with the generic "I'm excited to started X role with Y, i look forward to 2025 and the journey to come" and letting the notice be the middle finger to them, but I don't know if I can let this opportunity go to just dig it a little more. Has anyone come across some witty, different or have ideas?
I'll probably just post high road but I want some low road ideas....

I guess the main point of this post is to ask if the majority of online players play because of the accessibility/availability, volume of hands, variety of stakes, ability to track stats, etc. or because they genuinely enjoy playing online more.
I feel most players would agree that from an experience standpoint playing live is more fun although I could be completely wrong.
I’m also wondering what percent of online players have never even sat down at an actual live game.
It’s such an interesting thought as to how online games have completely shifted and brought in a new dynamic. I feel like it raises so many questions and interesting scenarios.

Eu M(24) ele H(20) confesso que estou em um relacionamento muito enrolado. A gente ficou umas duas vezes no começo do ano e foi muito bom. Desde então apenas ficamos flertando por mensagem, as vezes eu acabava levando vácuo e do nada ele aparecia como se nada tivesse acontecido falando que tava com sdds e blábláblá. A gente sempre tentava combinar de se ver porém nunca dava em nada. Até ai tudo bem. Não queria me envolver e simplesmente não ligava se ele falava comigo ou não até porque ele mora quase meia hora da minha cidade e fica muito difícil a gente se encontrar. Porém nunca parei de pensar nele, até me declarei por mensagem porém recebi um vácuo. Nesse meio tempo resolvi nunca mais falar com ele. Porém não conseguia o ignorar. Enfim, ele me chamou para sair nesse final de semana só que o querido me ignorou por uma semana e apenas apareceu no dia que a gente tinha combinado de se ver. Apenas o ignorei. Não quero mais falar com ele. Sinto que tudo isso é um sinal para me distanciar. Fico imaginando o que se passa na cabeca da pessoa de só me procurar no final de semana. Ainda n o bloqueei nas redes sociais. Queria muito que a gente desse certo. Só que não tenho mais esperança.

He was zealous in fasting and prayer, and had great love for those around him. His spiritual exploits won him honor among men, and even the emperor revered him. When the Patriarchal throne of Alexandria fell vacant, the emperor Heraclius and all the clergy begged St John to occupy the Patriarchal throne. The saint worthily assumed his archpastoral service, concerning himself with the moral and dogmatic welfare of his flock. As patriarch he denounced every soul-destroying heresy, and drove out from Alexandria the Monophysite Phyllonos of Antioch. He considered his chief task to be charitable and to give help all those in need. At the beginning of his patriarchal service he ordered his stewards to compile a list of all the poor and downtrodden in Alexandria, which turned out to be over seven thousand men. The saint ordered that all of these unfortunates be provided for each day out of the church’s treasury. Twice during the week, on Wednesdays and Fridays, he emerged from the doors of the patriarchal cathedral, and sitting on the church portico, he received everyone in need. He settled quarrels, helped the wronged, and distributed alms. Three times a week he visited the sick-houses, and rendered assistance to the suffering. When he was celebrating the Divine Liturgy, the saint was suddenly reminded by the words of the Gospel: “If you bring your gift to the altar and remember that your brother has something against you, leave your gift before the altar ... first, be reconciled with your brother, and then come and offer your gift” (Mt. 5:23-24). The saint came out of the altar, called the offending clergyman to him, and falling down on his knees before him in front of all the people he asked forgiveness. The cleric, filled with remorse, repented of his sin, corrected himself, and afterwards was found worthy to be ordained to the priesthood. There was a time when a certain citizen insulted George, the Patriarch’s nephew. George asked the saint to avenge the wrong. The saint promised to deal with the offender so that all of Alexandria would marvel at what he had done. that means he was rephrasing “it ain’t good for my health” to make it more positive then negative.
i just thought it was clever.

Budget is 350-400 USD and I live in the US, can buy from anywhere that can ship to me but prefer amazon. Playing on a 1080p monitor.
Same as the title but I want to specifically play retro stuff up to ps2 and gamecube at 60 or more fps reliably. Native is fine but playing at 2x or more would be good too but not needed because my monitor is budget.
Want to also play light 2D and 3D indie games, examples include Dead Cells, Binding of Isaac, Slay the Spire, Balatro, and pretty much any recent indie 2D or 3D game that fits my budget.
Would maybe play older AAA games before 2020 on it too.
Was considering one of these two but looking for better choices if there are any.

Had our first app with the RE today and I was expecting so much from the appointment. It was literally one of the worst apps I’ve ever had, he was dismissive of my questions, pretty much disregarded many of the things I’ve read so much about in this group and online generally, checked his phone whilst I was talking.
And the part that riled me up the most was he was looking and talking to my husband the entire time, despite me asking the majority of the questions. About mid way through I started crying and explained how he was making me feel, and asked if he would please look at me when answering my questions. It was such a horrible experience and I feel worse than ever. I’m proud of myself for telling him how it made me feel as I am normally very non-confrontational, but I wish I didn’t have t.
I’ve left with very little in terms of a plan, I felt he was trying to push IVF on me. This was an expensive private app, and IVF is also private where I live.
Just needed to vent! I’m so exhausted mentally by this journey 🫠

I arrived at 10:45 for the 12pm screening (later than I would’ve liked to arrive) and the line snaked around to Idaho. My friend and I were among the last people let in - we were fortunate to get seats in the very front of the theater, right before the screening started. I went to several sell-out Beyond Fest screenings and didn’t see anything close to the craziness of today.
Amazing screening but I can’t help but wonder…do they overbook the members-only screenings? It seems like loads of people didn’t get in, despite them presumably all having tickets. It was kind of a mess to be honest. I’m curious to see about other people’s experiences today.
