Installing BEAST. Unzip the downloaded compressed ZIP archive (currently BEAST.v10.5.0-beta5.zip). The unzipped files contain executable binaries for BEAST, BEAUti, LogCombiner, TreeAnnotator and TreeStat. Double-clicking on those files will automatically start the corresponding program. BEAGLE acceleration library BEAST can also import FASTA files (as long as the sequences have been aligned) or BEAST XML files (in which case the data will imported but the models and settings will not). Once loaded, the alignment will be displayed in the main window in a table: If you want to look at the actual alignment, double click on the row in the table. To test the installation, run BEAST and when the options dialog box appears, select “Use BEAGLE library” and “Show list of available BEAGLE resources”: The BEAGLE options available in the BEAST dialog box. You don’t need to specify a BEAST input file as the information about BEAGLE will be displayed and then BEAST will stop. BEAST is built on a large body of prior work and appropriate citations for individual modules, models and components will be listed when BEAST is run. BEAST-Users mailing list. Users are strongly advised to join the BEAST mailing-list. This will be used to announce new versions and advise users about bugs and problems. You will then run BEAST. Second Tutorial This tutorial follows directly on from the first, looking at the output of BEAST, diagnosing problems and summarising the results. This tutorial will introduce some of the utilities packaged with BEAST, logcombiner and treeannotator, as well as the external applications, Tracer and FigTree. FigTree is a program for viewing trees, including summary information produced by TreeAnnotator, and producing publication quality figures. BEAST can be downloaded from the following link: BEAST X v10.5.0-beta5 - UNIX/Linux version 46.2MB; This will download a compressed tar archive (a ‘.tgz’ file). For more information about the other options in the BEAST dialog box see this page. Analyzing the BEAST output using Tracer. To analyze the results of running BEAST we are going to use the program Tracer. The exact instructions for running Tracer differs depending on which computer you are using. Installing BEAST BEAST has been developed in Java , which allows the same code to run on any platform that has the Java software installed. We have also created packages for each of the common operating systems to provide a user-interface that is ‘native’ and familiar. I've had my s20 fe since October 2020, bought from Amazon. Previously, I'd had Pixel devices, and even a Nexus before.
My s20 fe still works fine, but the battery is starting to show its age. And $350 for a good new phone is a bargain.
I wonder though, will the S24+ from the google store be able to handle visual voicemail correctly, unlike my current s20 fe?

2024.11.25 07:00 -Thr0w_4w4y- Medical/caregiving workers, is this neglect? I’m new and concerned.

So this is a new career for me and I honestly think I want to quit over this. I work in home health and we have one patient in this unit. 8 hour shifts with rotating staff 24 hours of the day. I have been here over 6 months now and I have reported this staff to management but nothing is being done.
Backstory: The patient is wheelchair bound and cannot feel from the waist down. They had already had bed sores before I joined the company. They have bandages and wound vacs. There is one staff that does not change the bandages or fix the wound vac on their shift even when asked directly. I work the overnight position they work the mornings on weekends. Every single weekend when I come back the patient is in worse shape. The wounds are dirty, smelly and exposed when they should not be. I reported them so many times to management and nothing has changed. I just had a serious talk with the manager last week and not even a week later the same issues. I know the patient cannot feel the skin/wound but that doesn’t make it ok.. today the skin ripped off because they spent 16 hours with the wound on their pants… I’m about to quit my job and report this to the state because nothing is being done when I talk to the person in charge. I will have to quit because they will know I reported it since I’m the only new staff.
I’m new to the medical field and I don’t know if I am wrong or not. I’m the only staff that cleans, cooks or sanitizes anything. All other staff are men and older, I’m a female. My manager tried to offer me a position in a different home to “get a break from the boys” but that won’t change what is happening to this human being.. I don’t want to go to another home where more people are neglected and I end up doing 90% more than anyone else trying to make up for their laziness. I do not care that I do most the work, I care that the patient is being neglected and ignored. I’ve never been a mandated reporter before but I feel this qualifies. The company says to talk to management first unless it’s detrimental and I’ve tried but nothing is being done…

So I bought a eco-boost three days ago and I've been doing a couple pulls but nothing too terrible and I got home today parked the car and it started leaking a lot of coolant, I don't remember hitting any potholes or branches that could've damaged it so this just baffles me. So I’m a 26 year old guy with atrocious memory. I’ve know I have a bad memory for a while, initially it presented itself as an inability to retain people’s names, mostly new acquaintances but also occasionally not being able to recall the names of long time friends. As I’ve gotten older it presents itself in a number of shocking ways.
I hear friends and family talk about their memories of growing up, their childhood, school years, etc. To me everything before high school is pretty much non existent. I have a select few memories from high school and college but it’s more like snapshots of very specific things that happened. It seems like most people my age can recall basically their entire high school and college experience no issue, to me I feel like I’m grasping at a few vague memories. Nowadays my girlfriend is constantly commenting on my bad memory. And not just in a ‘you never listen’ sort of way- in that I can’t recall very basic things. Example: I mentioned to her the other day that we didn’t go to a baseball game this year kind of a bummer. She said what are you talking about we went to a game this summer with my parents. I had 0 recollection of it and it wasn’t until she pulled up since pictures we took at the game that I was fully convinced we went.
Some medical history. I like to believe I’m healthy for someone in their 20s, not overweight, I eat & sleep all, and exercise. I suffer from migraines occasionally, not sure if they’re related. In my college years I did drink excessively, nowadays I drink a moderate amount. Pretty much only on the weekends maybe 3 or 4 beers or a couple whiskeys in the evening that sort of thing. My grandad does have Alzheimer’s. Having seen what that disease has done to him I’m terrified it could be in my future. Honestly I’m just really scared that my memory is this bad in my 20s. Hoping someone out there might have some insight or have experience dealing with something similar.
