The reason why I take grab is so that I can cut down on commute time. If my grab is taking much longer than the time it takes for me to walk to the mrt and go home, what’s the point? I just got cancelled twice by 2 different drivers, and had to wait a total of 15 minutes. Upon waiting for my 3rd driver to come, I’m just thinking, do these grab drivers get consequences when they cancel on us? We also waste time waiting for them. We customers have to pay a waiting fee, but what about the drivers who waste our time?

I noticed that theres a lot of repetition in trap music and its getting boring , also the rappers have all the same flows and the same topics to talk about, so why not gettin out of the box and make different type of trap to revive this style that i believe that it still got great potential. with collaborating between beatmakers, or sending beats to artists and convincing them that they have to change a lil bit their style or the way they rap on them.

I've noticed that the skin on my face looks clearer and more vibrant/lively since I started jumping rope. I've been doing weights and cardio for several years now, but only recently added jumping rope to my routine—and that's around when I noticed this change.
Could the jumping/bouncing from jumping rope offer benefits for the skin that other forms of cardio don't? Has anyone else experienced something similar? :)

In my opinion, there are probable two outcomes that might come out of this fiasco:
1) Sara Duterte's political image is ruined, and all her political rhetoric would be seen as irrelevant and nuisance.
2) Sara Duterte uses this fiasco to carve a successful identity for herself at the end. We all associate her wihe the digong political brand, but IMO, and ironically, I see this as a way for Sara Duterte to demonstate to the entire country her political persona, political stance, and political capabilities. A political identity that exists independently of her father. Look at all the optics surrounding her and observe. She is painting a narrative around herself. This "relatable official who assertively fights for her place in the political arena." At least, that is how I see it.
If she manages to win this, wouldn't it be ironic if instead of being ruined, mas nakakuha pa siya ng platform to showcase her political personality? If she wins this, then Sara has successfully managed to make her political presence feel more known than BBM. But if she loses, then she becomes a political joke with all her political dreams 6 feet underground, but then again, that's just my observation.

I am 30 yo software engineer and have reached total savings of 1cr. This is 90% equity MF and the rest 10% is in total of bank fd, gold and others.
How i achieved this: Half of this was achieved by savings from my salary and the rest half was a one time gain of 50L unlikely to get repeated. My current savings is around 1lpm.
Sacrifices I made: I don't eat out or go to movies or concerts or pubs. I travel rarely and that too frugally via backpacking. I have decided not to get married or have children. FIRE seems to be impossible while having a family.
What I want suggestions about: At my current savings rate of 1L per month, does the FIRE target to 10cr seems achievable? What can i change to achieve it as soon as possible?

I'm surprised this hasn't been news, but due to treasury rules for match funding for flood defences, councils and interested parties have to find money often a % of the millions needed for the defence for it to happen.
The money is often funded by grants they applied for and the majority of this funding used to come from the EU.
The majority of flood defence projects never happen after government funding in place and plans in place due to difficultues raising the match funding.
Match funding now harder due to Brexit.
