A majority of the year, I've been helping out with a Legally Blonde Jr. Musical as a pit singer. At first, I felt like I couldn't do it, like it was a bit too challenging. But in the end, it was all worth it.
Friday night was our final showing. We did good. I'm gonna miss it all. I'm gonna miss staying back at school on Mondays until 5PM, having to go to school during break to rehearse for the musical, meeting new people, everything. What matters is that it happened, we accomplished everything challenging, and most importantly, we had fun.
To anyone reading this and considering helping out for a musical in the future: Things may be hard, but in the end, it'll all be worth it.

You show all of this to be true... But you have never, not even once, described your feelings for me. You have never said how often you think of me or really, even what you think of me. You told me I am pretty once. It was already clear that you think so, but I still blushed. That's about it though.
Gods would I love to hear more. Even if you are destined to break me again and again... Even if you still choose not to move beyond this... I still wish I could know every secret thought and feeling you hide from me. Just to know where I stand. It must be so nice to know... I can't help but spill it all. My writers mind putting words to everything. Words that then demand to be revealed like the first dollar a child possess, burning a hole into their pocket. So too do these words burn holes in my heart and mind until they are set free.
I wonder sometimes what it's like to know, to be told. Sure... I know with others... But when it matters so much it is impossible to seperate reality from fantasy or doubt. I wonder if you will ever tell me any of it. I long to know you more and more. Maybe some day you will trust me. Maybe someday I will know.

I know that Elend TECHNICALLY wears a regular black mistcloak when he goes about doing his Mistborning. BUUUUUT can we all just collectively agree that he’d look so much cooler in a specially made white mistcloak that acts as part of his Kingly Uniform. Like in a future Mistborn adaptation I would love to see the costume incorporate a white mistcloak into his uniform.
I feel like fans have also kind of collectively decided that “yeah no Elend has a white mistcloak” based on all of the fan art even though the book describes his as a standard black run of the mill Mistcloak.
