2024.11.25 08:03 Rover1312 Switch triples curved to flat or vice versa
Hi, I am interested to kown whether someone had changed his triples from curved to flat or vice versa and what are your findings. Are there really benefits from curved? I Never had either, but decided to go for triples and find it hard to choose. Especially worried if the horizontal lines will show a little bent with curved, but for flat, the IPS has worse contrast. When in a darkroom and night races, maybe IPS is not a good choice.

2024.11.25 08:03 LordSoyBoy911 ACAS giving two different answers to the same question
So at work I have two colleagues who I’m friends with, but don’t like each other. One of them manages the other person.
One of them called is a manager, they called acas on advice with disciplinary, they mentioned that they can go straight to a final written warning, as the other employee has been here for less than 2 years, about 5 months ish. They said as long as it’s justifiable, you can skip 1st and 2nd warnings.
They then put the other employee on a final written warning for a few things they did (it was justified tbh in my opinion).
3 months later the other employee who was put on a final written warning has called acas about the final written warning and says that they should have followed company procedure and go through with 1st and 2nd before planing issued with a final warning.
I tend to stay out of things like this but, who is right here? I’ve always assumed that you can go straight to a final warning, or even sack on the spot for literally anything (within reason ofc). Or am I wrong

Hey there! Hope you’re having a great day. I’m 25, based in London, and I’m looking for someone interesting! I used to be pretty prescriptive in terms of what I was looking for, but I’ve found that the most interesting experiences I’ve had have been when I’ve just been open to being surprised and delighted. So this is my attempt at going with the flow and letting things develop organically. I will say, however, that I am looking for non-platonic connections. I’m also not really looking for anything long distance!
Some of my hobbies and interests include:
- Playing music on my saxophone
- Looking at stars, galaxies and nebulae through my telescope

With CN announcing its EoS, we do not know how much time we still have on global server. So I'm planning to do some tribute stuff, a short video with the track "For Memories" by Asami Tachibana and maybe some fanart too.
