2024.11.25 07:59 Sea-Ad-5036 my neighbour is creeping us out!
I need advice please! We live in a row of town houses and we are smack bang in the middle, the neighbour on our right is VERY strange. It used to be this lovely lady who lived there (we know because she used to walk past our front window to walk her dogs, and my partner also used to mow her lawns). One day she was gone however her car was still parked there and we started to see a middle aged man walking her dogs past our window in the afternoons. We thought nothing of it but one morning my partner walked past him and said “hey, what happened to the lady who used to live in your house?” (We are all very friendly and as I said he used to mow her lawns). He responded “you have her number right? Why don’t you ask her” and walked off. Fast forward to a couple nights ago my partners family all came over from overseas to say with us for a couple months. The other night we had a gathering here and a bit of a drink, we weren’t OVERLY loud as we are very conscious of our other neighbour having a baby (we also do). When we walked outside to say goodbye to some of my partners family our neighbour was standing on the path of our houses in the dark in a hoodie watching us all. My partner just ignored him until he said something to my partner about being a builder, my partner kind of small talked him and then went to shake his hand to say goodbye to get back to his family but the neighbour stepped back and just stared at him. My partner went to shake his hand again and same thing. I told my partner to go inside and after saying goodbyes we all went back in. We went outside about 40 minutes later and again the neighbour is in the dark in a hoodie, staring at our house. It was so FKING weird! (Mind you it’s like 1am or close to). My partner was angry and wanted to say something to him but my partners mum forced him inside and we didn’t go back outside after that. Since then, he walks past 1-2 times a day and ALWAYS makes a point to stare in our window when he walks past. I’m really feeling uncomfortable especially as it’s usually just me home and since my in laws have come from a country that does not speak English they are home alone during the day and the situation has made them nervous. Is there anything I should do, say or something?? I’m terrified i don’t know how many times he’s looked into our house while we’re not home. We’ve never seen this man it’s usually the lady and from what we knew her husband was not this guy.

Was involved in accident in July 2024. Fractured hand and lost work for 6-8 weeks. The police deemed the other party at fault. Their insurance is proving a one time settlement of $X0,000 which is their policy maximum for bodily injury and medical bills claim. This is my first time involved in these insurance matters. I think the offered amount is 30% more than expected. I’m required to sign a document to receive this. My question is what’s the catch here?
Will they retaliate with a counter claim later on even if they were deemed at fault by police? Anyone been in a similar situation?

My belief is bumrah would easily break Pant's record of 27 and we would be forced to use atleast one rtm on him, and I feel Tilak, Hardik and Surya would all be close to 20cr which is scray to think from budget perspective. And lastly, Rohit would also be between 15-20cr (only little lesser than the others due to age.) I don't even know how we would be dealing with losing Bumrah, Tilak or Hardik specially, and just the thought of how much these guys would get in the auction is scary. Anyways, what do you guys feel? How much would each of our stars get if they were in this year's auction? Inalis na ba ni mapua yung students mismo mag eenroll or mag reremove ng course sa mymapua? kasi sa enrollment guidelines nila parang hindi nila namention yung about don. if may ganun pa rin na type of enrollment, sana naman iadjust na rin nila yung units na allowed tayo itake, which is (21unts max). last term kasi naka limit sya saakin ng 15units or less kaya napilitan pa akong pumunta sa campus for that reason.

Hi I’m 19 a sophomore in university. Right now I’m in dorms, my mom is helping me pay the rest of the tuition that’s covered by aid and fafsa loans (no parent plus).
The place Im in, you’d usually have a car to get around but in my university’s subreddit and the area’s subreddit they have said that can get by with no car. There is a public transit system here. And yea I don’t have a car.
I also haven’t had a proper job before. There are on campus jobs but it’s been a little hard to get accepted into them. There’s campus dining , which I am a little nervous to apply for.
There’s student housing that has a shuttle to my campus and groceries and a hospital, that’s way more affordable than on campus, that I think I will go to for the next year. I just completely changed up my resume. Also don’t know how to do cover letters and some of the jobs on campus are asking for them now.
I just feel so nervous. I really don’t wanna have to move schools again. I went from community college to this uni since I got accepted in the middle of the first semester. It’s a state university.
Becoming an RA would be nice but genuinely I don’t know if I can do that knowing myself.
I would like some advice on how to navigate this, if anybody has any idea. Should I go to the student housing ? The shared suites are 670 a month. Im definitely gonna get a job when I go back to the city I’m from and save up some more during the summer before I’d go
Also, well, to get off my chest: I don’t have a drivers license nor permit yet. I’m pretty nervous about driving right now honestly. Is it okay if I hold off getting the license now at-least? I have another document that I really need to get to getting but yea. Kind of stressing out about this
