 | So Im watching The F Word or What If (2013) and I come to a realization. 1991 was the perfect year to be born. Think about it. In 2001 you’re around 10 years old that’s when the GameCube, PS2, Harry Potter, and various other iconic pieces of media are coming out to grow up on. Then 2006 comes around you would be like 15, the emo age begins. So from 15 to 18 or 2006-09 you experience an iconic teenage identity phase. Then 2010 is next. Here you’re like 19-20 years old and it’s when you’re probably wanting to go out to clubs and find ways to sneak drinks and party. Dance/Pop is at its peak, LMFAO, KESHA, Pharell, Katy Perry, Just Dance, etc. Then where this though began 2012 to 2015, here your around 22 and you’re a young adult, this is when you start thinking less about hookups and having fun and about actually finding love. This is the period where coming of age dramas are the best they’ll ever be. The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Paper Towns, The Spectacular Now, and of course what started this The F Word. Va da se che buona parte degli italiani sono razzisti (e omofobi), e soprattutto gli elettori della Lega. Salvini e Vannacci hanno deciso di sfruttare questo per acchiappare voti, ma secondo me stanno sbagliando alla grande.
Partiamo dal primo: non potendo realizzare le politiche economiche promesse in campagna elettorale, si è buttato sulla caccia all'immigrato come fonte di tutti i mali, in maniera molto più accentuata che in passato. Il problema è che l'elettorato leghista è sì razzista, ma prima vuole pensare ai propri interessi. Prima si abbassano le tasse, si fanno i condoni e si elimina la Fornero, poi si possono fare i campi di concentramento per i migranti con espulsione diretta in mezzo al deserto. Non il contrario.
La Lega nacque per esigenze di autonomia politica e finanziaria e ovviamente l'odio verso gli immigrati che rubavano il lavoro faceva parte del pacchetto, ma non era il tratto fondamentale. Ora che Salvini si è buttato su questo e i suoi elettori si stanno spostando su partiti che secondo loro hanno a cuore di più i loro interessi. Persino Forza Italia (che dopo Berlusconi credevo morta e sepolta) è andata meglio nelle ultime amministrative.
E ora Vannacci, il cui progetto politico si basa su principi dichiaratamente razzisti. Ora, prima ho detto che gli italiani sono razzisti. Ma non è corretto. Sono xenofobi. Hanno una profonda paura di quello che viene da fuori e gli porta via il lavoro o viene per fare il criminale. Non ne fa veramente una questione di colore della pelle. Infatti odiavamo gli albanesi che erano bianchissimi.
Ma il razzismo alla Ku Klux Klan (se non a una minoranza) dove si spiega che i neri sono geneticamente inferiori non ci appartiene e ci mette a disagio. Con quello che è successo in Europa nel secolo scorso (e tutti i film dove i razzisti sono dipinti come i cattivi) abbiamo assimilato che il razzismo "puro" è male, quindi ci serve sempre qualche tipo di giustificazione di facciata. Anche la Lega della prima maniera diceva che non aveva niente contro gli immigrati regolari che pagano le tasse.
Invece i discorsi di Vannacci, con la sua difesa dell'"italianità" e il suo orgoglioso razzismo che sembra uscito da un trattato di eugenetica nazista vanno in tutta altra direzione e non credo che attrarranno gran parte dell'elettorato. Non sono molti quelli che vogliono mettere i forni crematori per neg@i prima di trovare un lavoro e abbassare le tasse.
