I’ve felt pretty awful over the past couple of months. I felt stressed out and exhausted all the time, and almost every day I’d have random sad attacks where I’d just feel super sad and want to cry (I’d only actually cry if I was at home and nobody was watching). I wouldn’t be able to study, pay attention in class, or live life at home a lot of the time. I’d keep thinking about me dying. Over the past few days though I’ve been taking better care of myself by spending more time around friends and exercising and going outside more which has made me feel a lot better, but I can’t shake the feeling of wanting that deep sadness back and that something is wrong without it, and wanting to sabotage myself so I could go back to how I felt a few days ago. Why would this be the case? It’s not like being like that was enjoyable or anything.

 | I've got a patch in the corner of a room where lining paper has peeled off, and I want to smooth it out to prepare for painting the room. (I know I have the option to cut it in a square and cover with a square of lining paper but want to see other options). I'm tempted just to sand and feather over some 'normal' Polyfilla, but do I need to upgrade to something like Polyfilla Finishing Skim? The bare patch is about 30x77cm at the widest/longest points. The edges are quite firmly attached at this point, it's not loose/pulling away any more. (Note: the lining paper came away due to a bit of damp/mould between the wall and the paper, but had not bled through the lining paper. The plaster was dry to the touch when the paper came off. I need help/advice. I was out watching a play last night, and about halfway through I started experiencing really bad pressure in my head. At intermission I went out to take some Tylenol because my head was bothering me so much. (I'm not usually the kind of person to get migraines/headaches). I didn't think much of it but this morning when I was going through my purse from last night today I found a skull bead in the bottom of my bag.. I checked all my jewlery and nothing I have matches it, I have no idea where it came from. The bead combined with the strong pressure in my head is making me worried. Does anyone know if this could mean anything?

2024.11.25 08:49 Japieja Streaming quality abysmal
So I’ve been trying to stream from my main rig to my steam deck for a while. Tried a new router, changing settings in moonlight to lower quality, everything I could think of. I always thought it was because I have a low internet speed and being the uninformed technical n00b that I am, didn’t know that didn’t matter apparently, until someone told me. So I tried using an Ethernet to the router from my pc, because I was told that helps make streaming smoother.
It’s still the same. Crappy image quality, sound and after a few min it all just becomes too much for the network and the image freezes. I also get the slow connection message the whole time.
I also tried to set up a WoL on my steam deck so i don’t have to manually turn on the pc when I want to steam on the deck, but the (WakeMyRig.sh if anyone is familiair with it) can’t even find my pc.
Like I said I’m a total n00b when it comes to pc and network stuff, so I don’t know if you people can think of anything that might begoing on from this information alone. But any suggestions are welcome!

The free sites that put up the fan translations are getting worse with viruses and scams. Previously, I could close the pop-up or refresh the page a couple times and proceed to reading, but now the pop-ups are just relentless on my phone and I cannot get them to go away in order to get to the material. Is anybody else encountering this and do you have a way to bypass it?

Hey Guys, I'm new here! It's so nice to be here and connect with all of you! I started streaming and have done three streams so far. I got confused as I set the goals but didn't reach them, so I was disappointed. I know that I am at the beginning, so I give myself time, but I wonder if it is necessary to meet the goals or if I can just suggest my favorite tip menu pattern.
Also I thought maybe I don't log in at the best time as I understand that the best time is to stream during the day in the USA but for me is the middle of the night!
Do you think I can just get naked and do my things without waiting to reach the goals at the beginning? any suggestion on how to get more views and tippers?

Hello, my French partner and I (italian) will be moving to Grenoble around January/February.
My French language skills aren't good, meaning I can understand simple conversations and have general knowledge of it, because it's a language I've studied from middle school to the end of high school.
However, my English is good and it's the main language I rely on (it's how my partner and I communicate, for example). My mother tongue is Italian tho.
Is there any chance I could find a job with basic knowledge of French? Rn I'm in Italy and working in accounting, but I'm obviously willing to start any other manual labor job.
I was wondering, considering my situation, if anyone could point me to an association/place to job hunting.

I want to get better at level design for Gamedev, and I think the best way to do that will be to make custom levels for a few games before than. I'm looking for good vnonvr Games to make custom levels for in blender. The only game that I've found that could help me in that regard would be Gorilla tag, and even that they use unity's pro builder so I don't know if blender will even work for that. Are there any games that you guys have made custom content for, that helped in that regard. I'm also not wanting to use the hammer editor, so any games that use that or a similar one like trenchbroom I don't want to use, as it wont be applicable for the type of levels I want to create.
