Hi, so our child is 4 years old, we're waiting on our official diagnosis and we're had quite a few meetings with doctors at this point just to paint a picture. I would say he's probably very lightly on the spectrum myself but I'm not a professional, he shows signs but not major ones. Sorry I don't know the more technical wording.
We've never had any major issues with bad behaviour but we're experiencing our child hitting us and throwing at us for the first time in a serious way. He's always done similar things but it's getting a little escalated where my partner is getting really upset.
We're starting to introduce things to our child like "if you do that again Mum/Dad will stop playing, or turn the TV off or take that toy away" etc. Does anyone have any go to discipline exercises they have some success with?
I've suggested the 'naughty step' or a time out scenario but my partner isn't 100% comfortable yet. Can you offer any advice on your experiences please? I don't want to start doing the aforementioned without first reading about if it can be a big negative for specifically a child with autism. Thank you!

Hi,
As the title suggests, I am a young adult in my 20s with about 20k (cad) to spend on a car, cash or otherwise.
I don't need a car for work or any other reason than wanting to and being fortunate enough to be able to buy my first car, and as such, I'm mainly concerned about getting a good looking car that's also reliable. There's snow for around half the year in my area, so that's also a factor.
I'm not looking for an SUV or a pick-up, in terms of taste I was a big fan of the 1988 Corvette C4 growing up, but I'm fine with anything that looks decent.

 | My Petra’s breathing has cleared up. This past year she started to have heavy phlegm-y breathing at night. I demanded blood tests and X-rays. The Vet came up with nothing telling me that’s how frenchies breathe. That may be so, I said but, that is not how this frenchie breathes. At my wits end I consulted a psychic who could look into medical issues. She wanted my pups full (registered) name and birthdate. Ten to fifteen minutes later, she told me my pup had a fungal infection. Petra got treated with metronidazole. She has five more days left of medicine and is nearly clear in her breathing. I don’t understand how it worked, but with these dogs, I committed to doing anything and everything to keep them happy and healthy.
