I sent my soldiers to the Alliance Championship event with a 33% ratio. I tested different ratios, and this one gave me the most points - 1257. I realized I had some extra XP to upgrade my hero, so I leveled Sergey from 70 to 74. I decided to update my army, and what happened? I lost points. Now I have 1252. How is it possible that after upgrading my hero, I lost points instead of gaining? WTF?

So, I’m not a big football fan for sure, but I’ve watched my fair share and my teams is the Chiefs. My boyfriend’s team is the Packers, and he loves football, so we go out with coworkers most every week to watch the game.
Here’s the thing. Last year I remember went with him to watch all the playoffs and the Super Bowl. And what I remember is a steady march through the playoffs by both out teams ending in a Packers vs. Chiefs Super Bowl, that the Packers won. I remember it, celebrating after, even talking about it with my boyfriends for months after.
Last month I referenced it and he had no idea what I meant. I looked it up and that’s not even who played the Super Bowl last year. I have a photo of us in our football gear at the bar for the game, but he doesn’t even remember going or watching the game- which is crazy! Of course we did! I remember talking about it for months! And I DON’T remember the actual game that happened.
What happened? Is it a vision? Did I jump universes? Or was it just a glitch in the matrix- everyone else got the update but me?

I drive a 2015 Corolla Le and whenever I drive at night I get flashed (not the good kind of flashed, but by high beams) by passing cars. This is starting to drive me INSANE. Every time I check if I’ve forgotten to turn off my brights, but they’re never on. On average of night time driving, a passing car flashes their brights at me one time. After an unsuspecting passing car deprives me of vision for approx 10 seconds, it leaves me enraged because I have now missed my opportunity to flash back to prove my high beams aren’t on.
Three months after I purchased this car (in 2017) I took the car back to the dealer to see if the lights were aimed up too high. I explained that I am regularly blinded by passing cars flashing high beams when I have just the normal night time driving lights on. They looked at me like I was the MOST simpleminded person to ever walk in their shop. They had me pull up to a closed garage door and turn them on. They said they are aimed exactly where they should be. I requested to lower them anyways. They responded with it wouldn’t be worth it because the whole front end would have to come off to adjust them. So I left feeling defeated.
Fast forward to today, almost 8 years of regularly being blinded by high beams. I drove 2.5 hours at night. I was flashed not once, not twice but SIX TIMES! No, I did not have a light out. No, my high beams were not on. No, I was not speeding. I was driving as if I was on my last chance to get my drivers permit. What do I do? Does anyone else have this happen to them? Do I need to wear sunglasses at night? Can I change the bulbs? Could it be something else? I’m perplexed.
I love my corolla, but I am about one drive away from selling my car. Thank you in advance.

I figure this community will get a kick out of this story so here it is. 5 years ago I was working in a global security dispatch center (~150 employee department) as an operator for a major company. the core of my job was to see alarms on my screen (Lenel) and dispatch them via phone/radio/email to the appropriate security team. Our department received 1-2 million alarms a year (not an estimate, I did the alarm metrics gathering for our department). For every alarm we had to enter clearance notes and a bunch of other stuff which took a lot of time.
One day, I was sitting at my desk with 30 alarms in front of me and thought "there has to be a better way to do this". Being the semi tech savvy person I am, I started googling how to make macros to automate alarm clearance notes and found AHK. I don't have any coding background but after reading some of the documentation it seemed really simple so I downloaded it and gave it a try.
I quickly built clearance notes for every alarm type. It felt great being able to do my job significantly faster so I started wondering what else this cool little script thing could do and this is the point where my job unofficially became AHK. Half of my time was spent managing alarms and the other half was spent developing my script which I had named Alarm Acknowledger (AA). I added a custom GUI, go it to look up phone numbers and place calls for me (we were using ROIP for calls), I even got it to upload all clearance notes for all my co-workers into a central Excel file on a shared drive (this was hell because if two people try to update a file at the same time it fails so I had to do some trickery with local .txt files that occasionally updated to the master file when it wasn't occupied).
After unofficially working on AA for about 2 years my management said I could just do this full time so I moved over to our security-tech team where I continued to update it for ~3 years along with other ad-hoc project work.
The whole time I was doing this I never used anything besides notepad to build it and all of my version control was done manually in a folder on a external hard drive. When I left the company my script was ~3800 lines of code and had more features than I can even remember. Looking back I have no idea how I never moved to something like vscode / GitHub.
I'm posting this because I am feeling nostalgic and wanted to share the story of how I got to this point in my life. It's been about 3 years since I last worked on AA and I start a full stack boot camp next week so I can HOPEFULLY develop as a job again. AHK is what got me into developing so it will always have a special place in my heart. If you made it this far into my story, let me know what got you into using AHK. I'd love to hear your stories.

ich bin dabei, eine Manga-Sektion für unsere Schulbibliothek einzurichten, habe aber selbst keine Ahnung von Mangas und suche nach aktuellen Empfehlungen. Ich habe schon einige Schüler nach Wünschen gefragt, möchte nun aber die Fühler noch etwas weiter ausstrecken. Die Bücher sollen sich gut für Schüler*innen verschiedener Altersgruppen eignen und ansprechend sein.
Ein wichtiges Kriterium: Die Mangas dürfen natürlich keine pornografischen Inhalte enthalten, damit sie auch für ein jüngeres Publikum geeignet sind. Gewalt und Action sind okay, solange sie nicht übermäßig brutal sind.
Wir haben schon einige Bände aus älteren Serien wie "Yu-Gi-Oh", "One Piece", "Naruto" und "Detektiv Conan".
Hat jemand Vorschläge für Titel oder Reihen, die sich für eine Schulbibliothek eignen? Vielleicht auch Klassiker oder beliebte Serien, die gut ankommen könnten? Ich bin dankbar für jede Hilfe!

Hello this might sound stupid but I am a Third Year LLB student of 3 year course. I am from Mumbai and here sem 5 and 6 are corrected by Mumbai University. I while filling the first page which is very confusing. I went on to fill details which Ig the moderator or examiner was supposed to fill. It was part B of filling the sheet (Mu Students might be aware) It was basic date subject and subject code nothing I hadn't fill on the sheet already. Now I am overthinking will it cause any mishap or problems?
