2024.11.25 09:22 Ravenclaw_23552 How many resources will be in the level 2 social studies exam?

I have gone through past papers for the social studies exam (conflicts rising from beliefs) and noticed that since 2021 all the papers have contained 4 resources, however before that there were usually 6-8 resources with the exception of 2019 which was also only 4. I'm wondering if anyone knows whether they have changed the standard to contain four resources or if it could be any number? Thanks :)

So I am rewatching superstore and I am on season 6 and on the first episode we see Amy on a zoom call with the CEO when Amy is asking for some PPE she comes off a bit harsh I guess, but then the CEO says that she cut of at “Cloud nine isn’t” and only when she repeats herself nicer does the CEO catch what she is saying so my question is do you guys think this was intentional or was it really just bad connection? A part of me feels like it was intentional but I’ve never been sure. Let me know what you think!

Howdy good people of the interwebs.
I come to you with a somewhat difficult topic which maybe doesn't quite fit here, but I figured this is the best place to ask. This is the context:
My current partner is currently very unhappy with their body (or parts of it) in relation to, as far as I can tell, gender perception. They have also voiced dysphoria. To give a bit more context, both of us have been parts of the LGBT community for most of our adult lives and our definitions of our respective own gender identities are loose to say the least. However, they perceive themselves to be primarily male at this point of time, which doesn't quite fit with the mortal shell they have been cursed with xD.
To be precise, the main problem is boobs, which they don't quite want to see on themselves atm. They have openly said that this is a phase and will likely pass, but it might last half a year or more and that's why I want to help them. I'm certain that no one here would try to dissuade me from trying to alleviate dysphoria for anyone as much as I can. Especially if they are wrong and it is, in fact, not a phase.
Enough context, onto the actual question: What can I do or suggest to them to help with these issues? Any advice on what helped you peeps and what not to do?

Last notes: I am basically the only person they truly talk about this topic atm. They know about this post and are glad about it. So yeah. if you got any advice or experience with what to do/what people have done to help you, it'd help a lot if you just throw them onto this post.

Hey everyone,
I'm struggling with some heavy thoughts lately and could use some perspective. I'm 35, working in manufacturing tech making minimum wage. It's a job, not a career, and lately I've been feeling this deep urge to do something more with my life.
I have two main interests I'd love to pursue: starting a YouTube channel and learning programming. But every time I think about making these changes, this voice in my head tells me I'm too old, that these paths are for younger people, that I missed my window of opportunity.
Part of me feels like these are just childish dreams and I should "know my place" and stick to my current job. Like maybe I'm being unrealistic thinking I could succeed in tech or build something of my own at this age. The thought of trying and failing feels scarier than not trying at all.
But another part of me is tired of letting fear make my decisions. I'm tired of feeling like a nobody and watching opportunities pass by because I convinced myself I'm too old or not good enough.
Has anyone else dealt with similar feelings? How did you push past this mindset? Sometimes I wonder if I'm right to be hesitant, but then I see stories of people making major life changes in their 30s, 40s, and beyond.
I guess I'm looking for both advice and a reality check. How do you know when you're being realistic vs. when you're just letting fear hold you back?

The game is great the lag is there sometimes but usually when it’s there both parties have it at the same time. The controller glitching thing is a meta problem not a game problem.
The problem with the fighting, not including damage feedback and hit registration. Is damage consistency and a penalizing people who just step in to punches.
The damage accuracy of punches in TOTF1 was better. In this one some strong punches hit as soft punches and some hard punches as soft. I believe that’s worked on tho.
I also believe the round scoring needs to be updated similar to how it was in TOTF1 in terms of the data. You can absolutely outbox someone with around Twice the damage and the round will still say 10-9. I personally don’t enjoy that.
I know the devs are working on a counter feature but I still want to mention the fact that players should get penalized for closing in on punches normally if I am jabbing you and you keep getting hit by my jab you naturally would back off I feel like that’s not represented well enough in the gameplay it’s too easy for someone to just get hit 2-3 times solid while closing and in weird clinching distance throw hooks while basically clipping with our body.
There should also be a casual mode in the future I don’t think I saw it in the roadmap but that would split the player base in a good way. That way we can address the complaints from the competitive crowd (real boxing ppl) and the regular average Joe’s who don’t have much experience and the ones trying to get a workout in.
Overall great work, this is coming from someone who played a lot of Toft1 and that beat every opponent on all difficulties.
