2024.11.25 09:30 skitzomike [FO4] Sudden issues with The Midnight Ride taking 5-10 minutes to save the game?
Hello friends.
I've about 26 hours into a new game. Started about 2 weeks ago. Running The Midnight Ride Extended. Followed all the instructions (I think). Have had no issues until today - now suddenly my saves are taking 5-10 minutes, even quick saves. Basically the game just freezes while it commits the save, then resumes as normal.
I don't have any mods beyond the base mod pack, and have not altered very many settings. (Turned off intro movies, increased frame rate, couple of other minor QOL settings)
It occurred shortly (but I don't think immediately) after meeting ADA. It's making the game basically unplayable right now. Any insight as to what to do to fix this?

2024.11.25 09:30 Bigheaded_1 question about 5x112 wheels on 5x110 hub with wobble bolts + hub centric rings vs redrilling
I have a 07 Saturn Sky Redline, I found what I thought were the perfect wheels, but the site that said they fit my car was in fact incorrect. It has a 5x110 bolt pattern and the wheels are 5x112.
I don't know enough about cars to do anything on without really doing research first. I Googled it, going the wheel adapter route is bad, if that was my only option I wouldn't even be thinking about it.
For redrilling the opinions I'm finding online are very divided. Some swear by it, others say it's dangerous. Drilling would never be the idea method, but since my holes are only 2mm off it wouldn't be too invasive (I think anyway lol)
I discovered Wobble bolts, again people are either "it's fine for 2mm" or "they'll likely sheer off and make your car a death trap!" While I find the name off putting lol, I did watch some YT videos and they seem like something to consider.
I don't want to be unsafe here, and I understand any modification would be less idea than a stock option. I know the best thing would be to just find 5x110 wheels. But the selection of 5x110 are pretty poor, not bad enough I won't buy them. But if I can get these 5x112 on my car and not have it overly rigged I'd rather do that.
My cars a smaller roaster so the size and lighter weight might help here. I'm wondering between option 2 and 3 which would be better? And if wobble bolts with a centric ring is a good direction, what brands should I be looking at? I saw somebody else on Reddit recommending hub rings that were plastic. I don't know enough, but I just feel metal would be a whole lot better here. IF this is the way to do it, I'm definitely not trying to save money here. I watched a few YT videos and with the rings between the wheel and the hub there was no movement, so that seems like a good option.
If drilling would be the better option, I'm hoping someone reads this and knows of a good shop in So Cal. This isn't something I'd just trust to a random shop that I ask and they tell me "yeah we can do that" I do plan to call some custom shops during the week to see what they tell me.
I don't drive crazy or too fast which should also help some here. And if my idea's bad then I guess I'll keep looking for 5x110 wheels.

Its ridiculous that some nations still have discounted prices while others lost theirs, even worse so for Poland, how in the hell are they expected to pay more for the game than developed 1st world nations like the US, UK and so on?
If so many people bought keys in certain areas that they raised the price to insure server stability then say so. If they never intended for these prices to be discounted in the 1st place then say so. If the prices are now absolute and nothing will be discounted for any specific place moving forward then say so.
Its beyond an insult to everyone who was going to buy whichever pack they were going for after pay day, that days after this happened we still have no official response.
The bare minimum they can do is say this is the final price, thank you for supporting us blah blah blah. Just address it.
