2024.11.25 11:30 desktop3060 What's the difference between a model and a checkpoint? (and a finetune?)
From I've read over the years, I assume a "checkpoint" refers to a finetuned model (the thousands of models on Civitai that anyone can make by combining different models together) and a "model" refers to a base model (the big releases that richer organizations can afford to create using hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of GPUs running for several weeks or months).
Is my assumption accurate or am I mistaken?
Should everyone stop using "model" as a catch-all for everything? Is a finetune just a model with a lora attached to it? Or is a lora just a finetune without a model attached to it?
I've generally heard of all of these terms before, but I've never really searched for comprehensive definitions on any of them yet.

Hello Guys, Recently my doctors diagnosed me with herniated disc because I feel some pain on left leg(sciatica). Someone who is a physiotherapist recommended a set of exercises for pain (cobra pose etc) and the pain is not very bad since I started doing them and only occurs when I carry something or do too many bending movements at work. I started going to the gym a few days ago and I would really like to continue within normal limits without affecting the sciatica. Is it possible to do more exercises without making it worse?

with the psu on the onexgpu2, if you ordered via igg you will be getting the big psu that supports 100w pd, but if you order now via onexplayerstore due to supply issues youll get the much smaller and compact 8cm x 8cm one but it only supports 65w charging....
you will see this if you look at the igg page vs the onexplayerstore page for onexgpu2
so given the choice which would you prefer? big chungus but 100w pd or compact boi but 65w?
