Does having multiple episodes of acute pancreatitis mean having chronic pancreatitis? I had 4 episodes in total, all because of alcohol. twice last year but I wasn't told I could never drink again and now twice more I've tried to hold on as long as possible but I've been dealing with problems and I've relapsed into alcohol. Now the doctors think it's chronic because it attacks every time I drink. The crises were similar, I was hospitalized for 2 days taking fluids but after I left the hospital I didn't feel any pain on a daily basis. I would like to know if there is a possibility of having several acute crises and not being chronic?

 | Hi there very inexperienced monstera owner here, thought it would be an easyish plant to keep in a dorm room but in the ~2 weeks since I got her, she’s experiencing yellow/brown/black leaves, leaves curling inward, and an overall general droopiness.  | I am already sick of this car if you have seen previous posts the battery came faulty I was trying to do a paint job but I bloody can't because the body can only come off if I remove the back And now I have realised that this screw is fucking stripped. It is deep in a cavity that the usual duct tape trick doesn't work. Yes to try the elastic band but I am not very optimistic that will work due to there being a cavity Barely a week since owning the truck and I regret not getting a mn 😭 they are so much more user friendly and better quality If the elastic band doesn't work should I attempt to weld the screwdriver that comes with the car with the screw because that seems to me to be the only option. My boyfriend has depression and lately it is getting worse and worse.
For example, he has started having problems getting out of bed or maintaining personal hygiene. I also feel that he is becoming more and more pessimistic and has less and less self-esteem.
All this doesn't bother me, I love him. But I want to know what I can do to help him feel better.
At the moment he doesn't want to go to a psychologist and I don't want to pressure him to do so, it has to be his own decision. So I'm writing him positive notes because they cheer him up a bit and every time he feels he can't take a shower I offer to take a shower together to help him.
What else can I do to help him?
Update:
He is doing so much better now! I have taken your advice and set up a reward system for him. Whenever he does well in his exams or does something that he had no energy for I give him a sticker pack to fill up a football magazine.
Also, he has no problems with maintaining his hygiene and has started contemplating going to therapy (this was his own decision, but I am so proud of him!)
Now with what he struggles the most is with his image. He is very handsome but he does not see that, and I don’t really know what to say or do to help him. I’ve tried complimenting him more often but I feel as if it didn’t help at all.
Could you help please?
