Fourth and second grade. Younger is an advanced reader. The older has a phone both have tablets so they can watch videos and listen to music but music is harder to find for the younger one. Especially with restrictions in place. Older one is scared of deep men voices like the original Harry Potter narrator and doesn't understand fast speakers or accents that are not American I love the idea of a yoto but not sure of they will care. I have a sense it does well in no device household as it hold some novelty

So Saturday night was Pride fest in my city and I went out with some mates to this bar I've been to heaps of times before. After we had been there for about an hour and a half I remember feeling like someone had flipped a switch and I really needed to use the bathroom.
By this point in the night I had, had about 4 mid strength beers. I'm more than use to this amount as we often do after work beers on friday nights and will go for much more than this.
I get to the bathroom and almost immediately I throw up in the toilet. I do this 2 or 3 times and then I must have blacked out because the next thing I remember is "waking up" and being really confused about how this could have happened. I tried to reach up to flush the toilet (as I'm on my knees at this point) and I can barely lift my arm. It's kinda like when you fall asleep on your arm and it goes numb. I could move it from my shoulder but my hand almost didn't work, if that makes sense? Then I was out again.
I came to again when my mate was kicking my foot under the stall door and trying to get me to come out. I don't remember leaving the stall but I remember looking at myself in the mirror with my mate next to me. I remember it feeling like I couldn't get my legs to work? Like I couldn't keep them under me.
I remember walking down the stairs of the venue, being in an elevator and then waking up the next morning on my friends couch. That's it. From the time I got into the toilet til the time I left I estimate maybe 30 - 40 mins passed and I remember, maybe 30 seconds of this all up.
The next day I was groggy and dizzy if I moved too quick and felt nautious and had stomach aches and I was struggling to stay awake. As of mid-day today (monday) I started to feel a lot better. I've been drunk and thrown up before. I've been hungover before. This just feels different. I dunno.
I kinda just want people to tell me I was an idiot and drunk too much too quickly or something, as the alternarive kind of terrifies me. I should also add that I was the only one of my mates who got sick.
Regardless of what happened, I am truely lucky to have such wonderful friends who came to find when they did. Don't know what would have happend if they were not around.
Any advice is truely welcome! Thanks!

2024.11.25 11:51 Dadwombat What’s the Best Modpack for a Mixed Group? Magic, Tech, RPG, and an End Goal that Matters!
Hey all,
I’m on the hunt for a Minecraft modpack that combines a little bit of everything:
- Tech (preferably with Mekanism).
- Magic (like Botania, Thaumcraft, Ars Naouveau,).
- Adventure (dungeons, exploration, bosses, RPG mechanics.)
We finished playing through Sevtech: Ages of the Sky which not everyone enjoyed and we are tired of the whole skyblock aspect. The main thing that everyone felt annoyed with is that progression was too restrictive, while making it feel like the armor and weapons we worked for meant little to nothing.
I have seen Prominence 2: Hasturian Era and thought that might be the next modpack but it seems like it might be not balanced? I've seen complaints and I don't want my friends to go through another sub par modpack only to feel like crap and not be open to more minecraft binges.
I would also prefer something that takes effort and can last a while. We have some time over the holidays and I want my friends to be pushed into taking things slower while, again, not feeling so restrictive like Ages
In the end we want an end goal that means something that isn't hard gated by tech, or at the very least lets the fruits of our labor shine. Something to make the grind worth it, if there isn't some big final boss
Not required but bonus points to something that is on a newer version like above 1.12.2. The newer versions are easy for some people in the group to run. So I guess bonus for just something that LEANS towards better performance.
Please give me all your suggestions, I would love to hear some pros and cons to better discuss with my group. Thank you so much in advance!

Así que me gustaría terminarla lo antes posible, entonces recordé una vez que un primo mío (más grandote en músculos) me contó que cuando empezó a tomar 2, empezó a crecer una banda, a lo que yo le repliqué "la panza te crece una banda" obviamente se lo decía en joda, no estaba más punzón, pero esa replica jocosa venía de una preocupación de lo que yo creo que pasaría si me tomara 2 scoops, que solo me pondría más gordito, pero en realidad no tengo idea, por eso vengo a preguntar.
Entreno bien, no soy nuevo haciéndolo ¿creen que me será beneficioso? ¿Que si le agrego un scoop más al batido antes de entrenar va ayudarme a subir más el rendimiento en el gimnasio y me ayudará a crecer más los músculos en vez de la panza?

Tired of always having to cut myself some corners in order to accommodate other people. Got me so depleted and I definitely lost myself. This time, I choose myself again.
I am just so glad I am back to my senses. I promise that I will never tolerate nor accept lazy and inconsiderate behaviotreatment from someone else again.

Where does a spaceman go to relax? His favourite bar, diner or tavern, of course. It might be at the spaceport, or on an asteroid or maybe a space station, but there will be good food, the barmaid knows his favourite drink and he can probably find an old friend or two there.

Well, as the title says, I am on the last month! I haven’t had a single pimple for a month now, and the ones that I had healed. I am slowly starting to feel like myself again, though I still struggle with the habit I developed of covering the sides of my face with my hair. I honestly feel so happy I decided to start taking this medication, I would do it all over again even if it meant going through the purge once more (for me the purge lasted 3 months)
