Hi! My band just got our first rehearsal space. It’s 8x16 and has 1 hard concrete wall and 3 drywall walls. Concrete floor and ceiling. Shaped like a shipping container. The concrete wall is the 8’ wall in the back. The other 3 walls are drywall.
I was gonna lay the floor with rugs, nail moving blankets to the dry wall, and glue 2 inch foam pads to the concrete wall where the drums sit, and the same foam pads on the ceiling above the drums.
Thick (used) rugs, heavy duty blankets, and ~100 two inch foam pads for the back wall and ceiling around the kit comes out to around $500. We also plan to make 4 wooden baffles with rockwool around 4’x4’ to place strategically, these will be fairly cheap.
How is my plan? What would you do differently with a similar budget? We want to make our ears hurt less and potentially record drums in there. Open to suggestions

for the excessive glossiness of it all. They copied the K-drama quality where everything in the background is blurred, skins are overtly soft and lighting is always epic in key moments. Combine this with their tradition of having a music bed FOR THE ENTIRETY of the film and you have a good story with irritating technicalities.
I miss the days of Claudine Baretto's peak. Pag middle class, middle class talaga ichura. Pag iyak, iyak talaga.
Also yung pilit na english quotes. When will that stop? Nagsasagutan in tagalog. Ganda na eh. Biglang ops, time for my english quotable sentence. jusmiyomarimar.

Hello!
Just wondering if this has happened to anyone else.
I have moved house and went to update my Padrón, no problem with that. (This is in Barcelona)
Then when I went to register with the local CAP there they said they were unable to accept it as they used my passport in the office for the Padrón, instead of my NIE. (I even double checked in the Padrón office if this was okay and she said yes!)
The woman in the CAP asked if I worked and I said yes, she said then if she used my passport on the form it would look like I don't work?
I have never had this issue so I am wondering if this has happened to anyone?

Me pregunto si esto le ha pasado a alguien más.
Me he mudado de casa y fui a actualizar mi Padrón, ningún problema. (Esto es en Barcelona)
Luego, cuando fui a registrarme en el CAP local, me dijeron que no podían aceptarlo porque usaron mi pasaporte en la oficina para el Padrón, en lugar de mi NIE. (En la oficina del Padrón pregunto si esto estaba bien y me dijeron que sí).
La mujer del CAP me preguntó si trabajaba y le dije que sí. Me dijo que si usaba mi pasaporte en el formulario, parecería que no trabajo.
Nunca he tenido este problema, así que me pregunto si esto le ha pasado a alguien.

https://a.co/d/7eKo9ry this 4K IPS monitor seems dirt cheap by a reputable brand, on paper the specs seem very similar to Apple Studio … but there are other monitors same size same resolution as this that go for over $1000. If resolution and size is the same wouldn’t the PPI also be the same? I’m trying to understand the difference between this monitor and a $1000 27” 4K IPS Dell Ultrasharp at same resolution for example.

I'm entering the correct price of coin on each transaction (from my previous exchange statements as well as Etherscan historical prices of the transaction) After importing as custom exchange portfolio, the prices recorded in the portfolio are all incorrect!!
I've also noticed the time of Date reading issue. I imported the dates and time in my local time zone +3, portfolio is adding another +3. I've now re-imported with UTC time to have it reflect in my timezone, however the coin prices are all still incorrect.
Example: ETH Price (from Etherscan transaction recorded) on Jan 24 2022 12:21:40 = $2,442.27 which i have correctly on my CSV. However after uploading it's showing as $2,218.91

hi i’m 25 years old american born woman and i feel like im going insane on how to balance everything all at once and at the same time. i’m currently finishing up my culinary apprenticeship in Spain that has taken me 2 years complete and im finally on the last phase which is just to work in the kitchen for 9 months. at 21 years old i was granted a large sum of money of a lawsuit and i used it all on traveling because 1. i knew traveling would be great for the young impressionable mind 2. i realize now i was trying to run away from my problems 3. i have this fear of being stuck at one job for X amount of years working at a business/company that doesnt appreciate or value the hard work a worker goes through. long story short, i felt i sped up/fast forward my 20s by cramming so many experiences and im absolutely blessed i got to do it but i feel so burnt out on completing so many things at once. i decided to switch careers along my travels because ive noticed i really how food has been a cultural connector and how powerful it is evoking such emotion. (ive been a foodie since i was younger but never taken up the kitchen) i switched from my psych and brain science into culinary arts and it feels exhausting. i am trying to balance and see if i should go back to psychology and see what i can do with psychology and culinary. or i just need to stick out my culinary arts because i think the reason i don’t like it is that im out of my element. or maybe i really don’t think it’s my thing. but i have a bachelors degree in a field where i don’t have to work long hours and maybe i need to put myself in a position where i have worked years in a company to actually feel the need to pull myself out and do something spontaneous. (i felt like i did so much traveling because i was afraid of completing my worst fear, but right now i crave stability) anyways A LOt OF WORDS, i think i just needed to rant. honestly im trying to optimize my 20s, i want to find a purpose in my vocation, and im just not sure in what i should do. (how are we allowing 18 year olds to pick a major when they don’t even know who they are ???)
