Hello everyone, I am looking to buy a Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, used like new with less than 150km, it's a good deal. Cause it's my first motorcycle ( I just had a 125 cc scooter) Do you think it's a good idea to buy now?( Winter it's coming and I will not use it until spring) Or it's a better idea to wait for better deals in spring? Also I red something about hymalayan 650 coming, that could be really a better option for me. Any suggestions for other models coming? If is not clear I would like to buy an adventure touring motorcycle

1st & 2nd year of uni I struggled with social isolation, I thought joining a society committee would be a great way to challenge myself in my final year. God do I regret it. It’s all the same people on the committee as last year, so they all knew each other / the way things work. The meetings consist of bitching about other members who aren’t there, they are passive aggressive when I ask for help, the people who organise the social events don’t even want to go to their own events. It’s a complete nightmare and I wish I could leave without it being a bad reflection on me 😩

2024.11.25 09:59 LeftCulture8653 I need money and I don't know if I'll be able to save enough with how I'm getting paid, is setting up a gofundme a good idea?
So, I'm 18 and I have a job where I do get paid pretty decent ($14.50 an hour) but I'm only working two days a week and I get paid every other week so, I think I'm getting paid for 4 days for about 5-8 hours each day.
However, I usually pay for my cat's and dog's food, treats, etc. Except this a recent thing, sort of. I've only been working since June (I was 17 then) so since I've been working I've been buying the stuff for my pets prior to that my dad would buy them. Since they're my pets, I've, obviously, taken the responsibility for buying their stuff.
I also try to buy other things to help out my dad whenever he needs me to as well. Also due to the holiday season coming up, I have to buy presents for people, not many people but still a good amount. A d there are a few things that I have wanted to do/get, that would probably cost at least one paycheck. Maybe? It depends on if my dad will pay for of the things as an X-mas present, but I'm not sure if he is or not.
Anyways, I need to pay for a vet thing for my cat and it comes out to I think $190.
I think my dad said he would help with the bill,but I don't want him to, unless I really need him to. He has 4 kids and more financial responsibilities to take care of so I want to cover as much as possible.
But for the reasons above, I don't know if I'd get the money unless I saved large amounts of my paycheck, which I don't know if I will be able to, but I'm going to try to save as much as possible for it.
My main question is if it's worth setting up a gofundme for it? I've never done anything like that and plus I don't really have a way of advertising it, but my family members are on Facebook so they might be able to.
But would it be worth it or should I just try to save for it myself? Right now I have like $75 in savings since I try to save $10 of every paycheck.
My cat's vet thing isn't 100% urgent. But it is one of my main priorities, so while I'd greatly prefer it to be done as soon as possible, it isn't a life or death/seriously medical procedure.

I'm a pc noob who bought a not great prebuilt. I know next to nothing about graphics and specs. I get these weird flickering pixels as you can see in the video. They're especially noticeable on the Unreliable. My pc is bad, but it should still be able to run a game like this on super low framerate, which I am. I've messed around with settings and it looks better than it did at default, but still noticeable. Can someone tell me why my game looks like this? Any help is greatly appreciated.

 | Hi all, I have ordered some clothes around 12kg from allchinabuy and its been stuck for like 2 weeks in feucht germany. The shipping company seems to be DHL (DHL PAKET). The status where its stuck says: “The international shipment has been processed in the export parcel center” I tried contacting all chinabuy first they told me to contact DHL, then I contacted DHL they told me that there certainly is a problem with the package and I should contact the seller and the seller should contact DHL to get this sorted. I got back to allchinabuy and they are stating that they cannot contact dhl and I should just wait for the package to arrive or urge dhl to ship it asap, meanwhile DHL already told me that the seller must contact them in order to solve the issue and they wont share anymore info on why the package is stuck or whatsoever Is this normal? Did someone experience the same thing? Hey I was wondering if learning French is worth it I had French for 4 years in school and I can understand it when it’s written (only casual with no slang) but I can barely keep up when it’s spoken I listen to a lot of French music and half my family speaks French so it feels like it would be useful to know the problem is my French teacher in school made me hate the language she was such a dick and now I’m back at square one trying to decide if I should give it another shot if I do how would you recommend getting better at understanding and speaking it
