Each facial expression late Sunday afternoon illustrated the Kansas City Chiefs’ collective reaction to another closer-than-it-should’ve-been win, this time over the Carolina Panthers.
Rookie receiver Xavier Worthy left the visitors locker room at Bank of America Stadium stone-faced even though his performance was full of quality moments. Joe Bleymaier, the Chiefs’ pass game coordinator, shook his head in frustration when he made eye contact with reporters.
Unlike most days after a game, quarterback Patrick Mahomes didn’t chat with many teammates in the locker room. Right tackle Jawaan Taylor sat in front of his locker longer than usual, his facial expression projecting his annoyance. Several Chiefs defenders left the locker room with their heads bowed.
The vibe from the Chiefs wasn’t joy, though. It was relief. Sunday was the opposite of the Chiefs’ last-second victory two weeks earlier.
The Chiefs squandered a 14-point lead against the Panthers (3-8). Although Chiefs fans outnumbered Panthers fans at Bank of America Stadium, Kansas City still needed Mahomes to produce another game-winning drive, this time with less than two minutes left after the Panthers had tied the score.
“You want to have some blowouts and be a little calmer in the fourth quarter,” Mahomes said. “But I’ve always said it can be a good thing as you get to the playoffs, just knowing that you’ve been in those moments before and how to attack it play by play.
“I would say this more than anybody: I would love to win a game not by the very last play.”
The biggest reason the Chiefs didn’t blow out Carolina on Sunday was because their defense, the unit that’s been the most consistent this season, struggled to rattle Panthers second-year quarterback Bryce Young.
Just like last week, defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo had to blitz the quarterback out of necessity because the Chiefs’ defensive line was not dominant in clear pass-rushing situations. The Chiefs blitzed often in the second half, but the Panthers recognized Spagnuolo’s tactic and Young was able to consistently get the ball out to one of his receivers in a one-on-one matchup.
“We could’ve played better,” safety Justin Reid said. “Bryce Young did a really good job taking care of the ball. The season is long, and you’ve got to be consistent and diligent about taking games one game at a time and not skipping over anything. There’s still some things that we need to and will improve on, like just being focused on today. We all know what our plans are. We know the goal is a three-peat. But before we can get to a three-peat, we have to handle this week.”

Possible hot take, pitching ideas for absolute universe is what makes this subreddit great. Listen, we dont even know for how long is this universe gonna last, and even if it does last long which hopefully, we have no idea what characters are gonna get an ongoing series in this universe besides those that we already know of, so i say let all the fanboys and fangirls pitch some ideas for their fav characters which some of them most likely wont even get a series in this universe anyway unfortunately.
And while i understand that it sets up expactations for the actual thing, which may make somebody's pitch be a better idea/story than the official story itself, but that's not their fault in the slightest, getting hired by one of the big 2 is a huge job, which makes these 2 companies responsible for how they treat these characters, and if its worse than the fanfic, its the writers and DC's fault, not theirs, they just wanted to discuss how the story could be like.
Also, this helps new writers expand their creativity, even though its not their own independent work, it does help before actually creating your own story and becoming a official story teller yourself.
So, whether good or bad, let people say what story they would come up with for said characteteam, its only a fun mental exercise that kills time and helps creative people be even better at what they're trying to be good at, which is telling good stories.

Best Fan Orientation A3 Apologies as I'm sure this has been discussed to death, but what would be the best layout for fans with my components? I have 5 F12s and 5 P12s on the way.
I was planning to do 3 P12s on bottom intake, 2 P12s for the CPU cooler, and 4 of the F12s for exhaust top and rear. However, it seems I can't fit any fans under my GPU. Also I'm aware the CPU cooler needs to be rotated 180°, will do this when I install fans. Temps are solid for now.

I have a device that gets the power signal of 12 V but the 2 data pins that I want to measure are 5 V. I have connected to the GND of the device to the logic analyzer. But does the fact that the logic analyzer gets the power from the usb that is a different power source from the power source of device create a problem even though the gnds are connected they have common gnd.

Raga allora, ho 24 anni e sto recuperando gli anni di superiori,(Sono sempre rimasto in prima).
Sono Discalculico e ogni volta che inizio o che voglio provare ad affrontare la "base" della matematica, mi sale una rabbia addosso indescrivibile. Non riesco minimamente a ricordarmi le regole (nonostante le scriva e trascriva anche con colori diversi sul quaderno), e appena vedo delle lettere mischiate ai numeri vado direttamente in "crash".
Nonostante ciò, riesco s studiare senza problema le altre materie ma "Chimica-Fisica-Matematica" non riesco nemmeno a leggere una pagina senza arrabbiarmi.
Ragazzi avete qualche consiglio da darmi per capire la matematica? Oppure avete dei video ove spiegano la matematica in maniera moooooolto basica e molto facile? (A prova di idioti per dire).

2024.11.25 11:50 TheVVumpus GT7 VR on PS5 Pro. Mazda 787B on Le Mans in torrential rain at midnight is Chef’s Kiss!

I exclusively race in VR, and have avoided this situation on the base PS5 due to it being CPU intensive and thus occasional frame drops. But with the Pro and the new positional reprojection enabled, it’s just brilliant madness. VR night races in the rain have always been the most immersive and convincing, even with the light sources and reflections doubling due to the old reprojection, but now it’s on another level. This is the track combination I show my friends first now. Too bad they don’t have VR demos to show this off - they would be selling a lot more headsets and Pros.

Hello I am a 26M in a relationship with 25F. We've been together about 2 years, living together for 1.5. We met through work and had the same job for a while, were relatively stable financially, not great, but living cheaply we got by just fine.
Both lost our jobs at the end of 2023 and 2024 has frankly been a shit show of trying to survive. My partner has taken it much harder than me, for sure. I work full time as much as I can and she works part time a couple days a week.
I'm responsible largely for working as well as cooking, cleaning, paying bills, shopping, doing laundry, etc. I do most everything for us I feel like. My partner has some mental health issues that are pretty severe and we haven't been able to get her treatment yet because insurance sucks. She said it's too hard to do these things or take care of herself so I largely pick it up. She says she's hungry and I have to figure out what to make and cook the food, and clean up after. I do the dishes, laundry, pay the bills, work more, make all the phone calls, do the shopping. She said it's too difficult to go out in public anymore so we don't go out really, just stay home. I don't see my friends because she will miss me too much or need help while I'm gone.
We don't have sex anymore, maybe every 4 months or so we do. Or I just do things sexually for her and don't get anything out of it myself really.
I just feel more like a caretaker than anything lately, like I am caring for a disabled adult as a second job sometimes. It sounds terrible and I feel bad saying this but it's how I feel. I don't get to take a break or sit back and relax or even see my friends because she always needs something or other. I really do love her, and I still believe there's a person underneath who is just hidden under a lot of bullshit. I am very sympathetic to mental illness and have been through a lot myself, but that also means sometimes I would like a break or to have some help.
I don't WANT to leave, I really don't. I just feel overwhelmed and exhausted and I feel like even if I did want to leave, I can't. She relies on me too much and I don't know how she could make it without someone to help
