I don’t really understand what’s going on and I’m hearing mixed opinions and perspectives. I drive a modified car but it’s not too loud, does that matter? All I’ve got is an intake and a downpipe and I only get loud on highways (non residential areas). I’ve had my car collecting dust since the news. Has anyone been stopped at one of those checkpoints? What do I expect if I go through one? Would they treat me differently since I’m registered in AD?

I had applied on the 29th, got the grant as of today (a few mins back 4:30 pm IST).
Was under stress given I had booked tickets like an idiot. (Don't book unless you have a couple of months to spare)
Context - my wife applied on Sep 20 and got hers on 25. I have been to Australia several times due to work so got lazy on mine and applied on the 29th of Oct for a Dec first week trip, thinking it would be quicker if not the same. I was wrong, so please account for at least 30 days while applying.
Kept documentation minimal to what was asked - adhaar, passport copy, itinerary, bank statement (3 months), Payslips (3 months), leaves approval from my company, tenure and designation with my company.
Status was showing as received throughout this period. I checked nearly every day for past 2 weeks.
Finally recived a 3 year tourist visa with multiple entries upto 3 months. My wife had received a 18 month tourist visa with the same conditions.
Summary of my exp - approval timeline seems random - but account for at least 30 days - For both, my wife and I, minimal documents were uploaded (as per checklist), so not sure if too much is a good thing. - Howerver, we have a good travel history (US/Europe) so not sure if that helped or not - PLEASE PLAN FOR MIN 30 DAYS TO SUBMIT AND DO NOT BOOK FLIGHTS/HOTELS IN ADVANCE UNLESS THEY ARE REFUNDABLE.
I would like to thank a couple of folks who really helped with some moral support. It was a taxing affair.

2024.11.25 11:20 LilaMoonlight I got a problem with medication.
Long story short. Medication makes me extremely weak but that's the only way I can stand without feeling I have a heart attack.
I've taken propanolol for a month and a half or so(10 mg morning, 10 mg afternoon) , and even if with some problems, I was reaching a good point. Then one afternoon, I took 10 mg in the afternoon and I had some problems. I was feeling more weak then usual, I take my blood pressure and it was kinda low, but mostly my heartrate was 47 just sitting down. From that moment on, I kind of freak out even more, and cut off propanolol completely, that leads me to a flare up the day after without taking it, going to the ER without ANY form of care, sent home feeling worse.
My doctor always suggested Ivabradine if propanolol wasn't my thing. But to me, that doesn't make ANY sense. My baseline is already low, Sitting I have from 60 to 70 without medication, laying it can go to 50.
Ivabradine isn't for people with a baseline of 50 laying down! Is for people with 70, 60 at most! How can he suggest me such a thing?
Given that I had hellish days, then I decided to take half a dose, 5 mg of propanolol. Yesterday was kind of fine. Now today I still feel super weak and like shit. My doctor says propanolol/ivabradine or nothing else. He doesn't give me other options. I don't know what to do. Without medication I can't function but with medication I still got a lot of problems. Sitting today was in the 54 or something like this (I measure it because I feel it when I'm weaker) What the hell should I do. How can i trust a doctor that says 47 sitting down isn't a problem? How can I trust someone that gives me ivabradine with such low heartrate at rest? And what can I do if EVEN 5 mg makes me feel bad now? I just started to react more to propanolol all of a sudden!
Without any medication I can't do anything but now I think I can't take anything at all, and that makes me have bad thoughts, because I always feel ill and weak and dizzy and I can't do anything of the things I want to do and I have to do. The whole ER didn't know anything about POTS, a lot of doctors I deal with do not to, I fear changing a cardiologist won't be easy at all.
