Hey y’all Sorry I kinda forgot to post an update about the shirt Long story short I bought the white nex gen shirt and I said that the cut doesn’t really sit right with me. I’m talking about this post that I made a few weeks ago. Basically I got an answer from them telling me „are you sure? For me, it looks right“ so yeah.
It doesn’t really matter now, it’s my all time favorite shirt now

I've had my sights set on buying a gaming laptop for black friday since I just regretfully sold my max spec 2022 g14 w/anime matrix ;( ......was looking into zephyrus m16 4090 or duo 4080 for 2799 or possibly the g16 4080...but then I heard about geforce and figured I'd try the premium subscription. I'm using a surface laptop studio 3050ti and an iPad pro 12.9. The ipad has the best display and speakers so I used geforce to play a few games...and damn! I'd pretty impressed. It's slow to load up initially but once it gets going, it's super smooth. Now I'm wondering why i would blow over 2k for a big ass high powered gaming laptop where the battery will die quick and it will run hot as hell, when it looks like i can play cyber punk, resident evil, and more, just fine on my ipad.

Please tell me this is not madness!
I recently moved to mirrorless by getting a Z5 and love it! I got the 50mm 1.8S and the 24-200mm as native lenses. I also have the D610 which has been a great companion for the past 10yrs, and use the 80-200mm f2.8, 50mm 1.8, sigma 24-70 f2.8 ex dg and Samyang 14mm with it. I have the FTZ adapter to use these on the Z5, but not liking the output completely.
Now that the gear is out of the way, I predominately shoot landscapes and astro. I also enjoy doing portraits, and have done a few events for people I know. Based on my current gear, the 50mm and 80-200mm are what I use for portraits.
Recently, I had a chance to use a friend’s Canon 5DMKii and the 135mm f2, and the output out of that was just wow! This made me think about getting that lens for family portraits. Now as I don’t have a canon body, I was thinking of using a Canon EF to Nikon F or Z mount, as I have both bodies still.
Has anyone had experience in using this combination? Trying to understand if the output would be same even on the Nikon, or if it is even worth it!

Why do threads just a little bit old get tossed away, basically? Can't a discussion about something go on for weeks? Some topics are timeless and can be relevant for years. Why doesn't Reddit prioritize based on recent activity like Google and Straightdope (on which a post no matter how old, if it has new activity, is bumped to the top), instead of merely the creation date of a thread? Why would anybody want things this way?
