I’ve been searching everywhere and I can’t find this old beetle commercial. I’d guess it was from the 70s but maybe earlier. It’s two guys commuting by train and one just bought a brand new luxury car, the other a beetle. When they get to the parking lot it has snowed. The luxury car won’t start and the beetle starts right up. He gives his friend a lift home but on the way he goes on and on about the features of his car that wouldn’t start and offers to give him a ride in it sometime. Beetle owner just says “uh huh” to everything.
I don’t think I’m making it up but I can’t find it anywhere. I think it was shown during a documentary that I watched but can’t remember which one. Any ideas?

2024.11.25 12:13 majesticjules Very large ovarian cyst removed.
I just had laparoscopic surgery on Nov 21st and had an ovary fallopian tube and a 31 liter ovarian cyst removed. I came out of surgery 60 pounds lighter than when I went in. Despite that recovery would be going great except one thing.
I can't breath well at all when I am standing. After ruling out a major problem with my heart or lungs, they are saying they believe the cyst was pushing on my daphram preventing the use of certain muscles. And now that they can expand again I need to give them time to strengthen back up. I guess I do see some improvement and it has only been 4 days since surgery.
Has anyone had a similar experience? I would very much like to read your story and have someone tell me this is temporary like they believe.

I find myself in the point of asking, because idk if im getting mad or something at this point, i tried everything, but for whatever reason i cant see to make the frame generation work
before u ask, i sideloaded the lastest 24.20.19.05 drivers of the 780m, in an old windows install (and using DDU), and in a clean installation of windows, super resolution works, but again, afmf neither the overlay of the drivers work, i havent checked in an external monitor cause is not my main target, but only in the main lego screen, and at this point im starting to thing that it doesnt work with the lego display, if not, what im doing wrong?

I realized that there's a distinct lack of bosses turned heroes in Kingdom Rush. So far, the only boss turned hero I can think of is Vez'nan. (I thought of Jack O Lantern also but he isn't exactly a boss in Frontiers, hell he isn't anywhere to be found in the encyclopedia there.) And with KR Alliance's theme is about the heroes and villians teaming up against a common enemy, I thought that it would be perfect to bring back old characters as playable heroes. We already got Arivan as a villian in the Undying Fury campaign, why not have a former hero/villian that's a former boss as a playable hero in the next campaign?

2024.11.25 12:13 Duck_Lake Just started Morrowind and need some tips
Im currently level 3 and figuring out how fights work. I won some of them but i mostly get my shit kicked. I have a bunch of potions but i don't know if i need to use them? Im a massive resource hoarder and usually rawdog my way through with skill and determination in other games. But im guessing that's not how it works in Morrowind. I'm playing as a dunmer theif if that's helpful. I love stealing so being a theif class seemed appealing but i heard that short blades are pretty weak. Should i invest into leveling up my long blade skill?

2024.11.25 12:13 UnsolvedBurger Beeping sound when I open a new window
Hello everyone, so the problem is that all of a sudden windows started playing a beeping sound (twice, or once) at random whenever a new window pops up, it started two days ago and its been too annoying to let go. I was able to replicate the sound with more success using brave browser and saving a file just as shown here: https://streamable.com/gob5v7 I've tried searching, but no success as this issue seems too specific to everyone,
the sound happens with multiple apps, file explorer, excel, browsers, and basically anything that pops up both my screens, so its not exclusive to any app, and sometimes when the window pops up it gets 'glitchy' for half a second, like its still loading or setting up.
my situation is also weird, as this issue started happening a day after I got a new OLED monitor (asus strix), 2k 240Hz, my setup currently is 2 monitors with the new one and an older Zowie Benq 1080p monitor.
ram usage is normal, I'm not running any GPU heavy tasks, no games are running.
I tried the following: uninstalling the Displaywidget app for the new Oled monitor Disabled the OLED monitor as an audio device disconnected the Oled and ran a single monitor (1080p only) restart uninstalled some other apps that I thought could cause the issue (Meta Quest VR app, adobe) ran a full virus scan
and nothing happened, the issue still persists.
I'm out of my sorts, even windows is updated, and honestly even solutions online are too generic for me to try
