I know LoL Vi has amnesia or soemth and I noticed this is also how her arc concludes in Arcane, just very lowkey.
When Cait catches Vi humming Dear Friend Across the River, Vi tells her it’s “a tune my mom used to hum.” Vi has forgotten what should be her strongest association with the song - Powder singing it in the opening scene as they search for their parents on the bridge. Powder sang the lyrics, which were about class disparity between topside and bottom, but Vi has forgotten the song ever had words at all.
This season used Dear Friend exclusively as Vander’s motif (I’m pretty sure). Considering his role in the story, this use of the song evolves its meaning. It becomes a song addressed to a dear friend from the past. “Dear friend across the river” becomes a sentiment about reaching out across time through forgotten memory. In the end, Vi remembers the song, but has forgotten all the anger and resentment that should reasonably come with it. Instead, she only remembers her loved one from a forgotten past life.
Also, the ‘dear friend’ on her mind is Jinx. Vi’s strongest association with that song was from a moment when she had to act incredibly strong in order to take care of Powder. Now that Vi has come to think of Jinx as someone who took care of her in return, she remembers her mom humming the song instead.

Just went to accept an e transfers and it said it "couldn't find a valid account to deposit the money to" or something stupid like that. I then tried to sign into the app and website normally and both of them aren't showing my checking account. This shit is crazy and unacceptable.. definitely going to consider changing banks even though getting direct deposit set up for everything again will be a pain in the ass...

We pay an expensive bridging loan, but we have some equity on the side. Would it be possible to repay the interest-only bridging loan from our own pockets, just to eliminate the monthly payment for the bridging loan?

Hey guys I need some help last night my cat snuck in and slept with me and my partner while we were sweating it out and my cat is 150% high. He was chilling at first and then started freaking out a little breathing fast hunched over not eating or drinking water. I slept for a little and then got woken up to him on the floor laying on his side meowing loudly and kicking his arms and legs. He won’t move except that nor will he eat or anything. He’s just in paralysis basically and it’s obviously a ‘come down’ but I’m really worried about him and don’t know what to do. It’s been 12 hours

 | Hi, everyone! I’ve been working on my sourdough starters and could use some advice. I currently have two jars going. Jar 2 was made using discard from Jar 1 as a backup, in case the first one failed. I’ve been keeping a daily journal of their progress and included it below for reference. I live in a cold apartment (around 15–17°C/59–63°F), so I’ve kept my starters in the warmest spot I have—on top of my desktop computer! The temperature there is around 22–25°C (71–77°F). My sourdough journal: Day 1: Made the starter with 0.5 dl rye flour, 0.5 dl wheat flour, and 1 dl water at 2 PM. Day 2: Fed 30g rye flour, 30g wheat flour, and 60g water at 7 PM. Day 3: First rise, possibly false rise. It more than doubled in size! At 8 PM, I cleaned the jar, discarded the starter down to 60g, and fed it 30g rye, 30g wheat, and 60g water (1:1:1 ratio). The consistency was quite thick. Day 4: Minimal rise—possibly because it was colder that day? I skipped feeding and planned to feed it the next morning. Day 5: 11 AM It smelled sour but had minimal activity. I discarded about half and fed it in the morning with 25g rye, 25g wheat, and 60g water. The consistency was loose. Day 6: 12 AM Still minimal rise. This time I skipped discarding and only fed it 25g rye, 25g wheat, and 50g water. Day 7 (Today): Jar 1 rose by about one-third of its original volume, while Jar 2 doubled in size! Both are bubbling and smell pleasantly sour and fresh. Questions:

Hi everyone,
I’m dealing with a frustrating situation with AliExpress and could really use some advice. I returned three items to a seller, following their instructions, and the tracking shows that the parcel was successfully delivered.
Now, both AliExpress and the seller are bouncing me back and forth:
The seller claims they haven’t received the items and insist I contact AliExpress. AliExpress is saying they can’t issue a refund and that I should resolve it with the seller directly. I’ve provided all the necessary proof, including tracking details that confirm delivery, but neither side seems willing to take responsibility. I feel like I’m being given the runaround, and I’m stuck without my money or the items I returned.
