2024.11.25 15:00 IRodeAnR-2000 Bone Stock CR-10 V2 - Suggested Upgrades
Hey All - I've got a totally stock CR-10 V2 (separate control box with the single big wheel/button) that I've had for a few years and used sporadically. Recently started using it some more again and think I may have stripped some teeth in the extruder. Since I'm going to have to dig into it anyway: what are the go-to upgrades for one of these?
I picked up a K1 recently, and that thing is obviously substantially better than this old CR-10, both in a performance and quality of life standpoint.
And yes, I do actually need/use the size of the CR-10, and no, I'm not interested in spending the money on a K1 max yet.
I see a MicroSwiss NG that says its a drop-in for the V2: Amazon Link
That comes with the all-metal hot end, but I also have a Spider 3.0 sitting in a box that I've never done anything with.
The bed leveling on this thing has always been terrible, and watching the K1 auto-level has been quite nice. What are the options for auto bed leveling on the V2?
Any other upgrades worth making? It's tough to research because these have been out for quite a while and the differences between even the V2, V3 and other models can be pretty big.

Hey everyone,
I’ve been having a weird issue with the Ubisoft Connect Store. Whenever I try to open it, it gets stuck in an infinite loading loop with the Ubisoft logo displaying—no error messages or anything.
What’s strange is that everything else works perfectly: I can access my library, launch games, and use other features in the app without any issues. It’s just the store that won’t load.
Here’s what I’ve tried so far:
1. Checked my internet connection (it’s stable and working fine). 2. Ran Ubisoft Connect as administrator. 3. Updated the app to the latest version. 4. Restarted the app after killing all Ubisoft-related processes in Task Manager. 5. Reinstalled Ubisoft Connect completely. 6. Disabled overlays (like Discord/GeForce Experience), VPNs, and even my antivirus temporarily. 7. Reset my network settings (disabled proxies and used Google DNS). Has anyone else run into this issue? Is clearing the cache the key, or could it be something else entirely?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I need to get some others opinions. I joined because I wanted brotherhood and the occasional chance to serve the community. Our lodge puts on two big events per year. One is mainly for the community and the other serves as a fundraiser for the lodge. These events are discussed in lodge months, we send out mass calls, there’s no shortage of publicity. The amount of brothers in our lodge (we have about 150 members) that ignore all of these notices and refuse to help unless the chair personally calls them and invites them to help is beyond frustrating. The opportunity to help and contribute to the community and the lodge is there but you refuse to help unless someone personally fluffs your ego and personally calls to ask for your help? Am I just out of pocket here? Is this a generational thing ( it is mostly 50+ year old members that require you to ask directly before they will do anything)? I joined knowing service was part of the job at hand and show up when the lodge needs me and I’m able. I don’t require anyone to call me personally before I get up and help. Is this normal across American lodges?
