Buongiorno a tutti,
In data 18 un gommista ripara una delle quattro gomme che aveva subito una foratura. Data la posizione (sulla spalla) francamente protesto contro la riparazione, ma mi viene assicurato il lavoro e considerato che mi ero offerto di spendere 700 euro per un treno intero, tendo a fidarmi.
Due giorni dopo mi scoppia a 130 in autostrada, tengo la strada e niente e nessuno si fa male, neanche il cerchio.
Per proseguire il viaggio (ero a 300km da casa) mi tocca comprare le prime gomme che trovo (360 euro due) e proseguire. Le misure sono sportive ma il prezzo non è proprio da mercato e DOT non recentissimo. Oltre a questo, mi ritrovo che il treno di gomme estive che attualmente monto sia "spezzato" come marca.
Ero intenzionato a chiedere un rimborso al primo gommista, ma francamente a bocce ferme e rabbia passata, non sono sicuro di quanto ragionevolmente posso pretendere. Non ho intenzione di rifarmi piu del dovuto.
Cosa dice il cc e la vostra esperienza in merito?

got my early '09 baby about a year ago at a thrift store for $45 and she has been fantastic as a secondary computer (that i use more than my primary one)! i more or less only use her to watch the live concerts/music videos i migrated onto her and to use the dvd/cd drive to burn cd's and dvd's for archiving's sake. when i found her she already had 2tb of storage so all i had to do was clean her up and upgrade the ram and i haven't had any problems with performance for what i use her for :) havent seen many retro mac's posted in a loving way here and wanted to change that!

I have a medical condition that causes me to develop allergies randomly and on a temporary basis. I can become allergic to anything but some foods are consistently safer than others for me. Oats tend to be one of my safest food options, so I'd like to find recipes that only use oat flour.
I've been having a hard time finding recipes that meet this criteria and are also vegan. I know that for the best results, I should be looking for recipes that were designed to be vegan from the start, so I'd appreciate any suggestions!

I am super new to all of this. I thought I was getting the hang of it then the weather changed
I had them in bright, direct sunlight (as the little tag and online says) but then they started to burn so I put them in a shady area - you can the the burnt leaves
The pitches never really got any bigger than what was shown, plus I HAD to water the pitchers every day. Even now that it’s cooled, I add some water to the pitchers then the next day they’re bone dry
I check the water levels in the soil cause I know they like moist soil, so I don’t think that’s a contributing factor. Plus, where I have them is like mosquito city (why I wanted a carnivorous plant)
I thought they went dormant, per my research, but discovered from here and other sites that THIS particular one doesn’t do that. I don’t have the setup to bring them in for the winter so I’ve kinda already accepted they won’t make it
My questions - if they need direct sunlight, why did they burn? Why are the pitchers empty almost daily? What kind of carnivorous plant (not Venus) can I get that goes dormant in the winter?
I live in TX and our weather is very unpredictable. For example, today ranges from 60-40, summer is triple digits
Also, if there are any good resources so I can read and prep for spring, please link them. Thank you

I took my 2010 Camry in (120K miles) because I was experiencing a rough idle. I paid $200 for the diagnostic, and they diagnosed it as bad engine mounts. I proceeded with the $1400 quoted repair and they replaced the mounts. Unfortunately, the vibrations are still there.
This is a local shop I have used before and generally trust. Would it be unreasonable of me to bring it back in and ask them to do another diagnostic free of charge?

I just wanted to ask. Have any of you guys had an illness or chronic illness flareup that lasted 5+ yrs? How did you get your life back on track after so many yrs of disruption? I was in a trance of pain, mental anguish, and straight up brain fog for 6yrs 2019-2024 because of the wrong medication. I graduated college in 2019(i'm 27) and now after three months off that prescription, I am finally of sound enough mind. I've even start applying to jobs and am trying to figure this thing out.
My issue starts with my feelings of inadequacy though, and when trying to apply for a job I don't have a very colorful work history, or college history. Anybody out there get where i'm coming from if so? 😔

Hi everyone,
I am only one week AF and have appreciated reading posts here. My question is, does anyone have a success stories of quitting moderate or heavy drinking they can share? My anxiety and depression have been worse lately and before I started a new RX I decided I need to stop the 20 or so drinks I have a week. I had hangovers and would black out once or twice a year, but it mostly was just a consistent drinking lifestyle. I probably had 2 a night or 3 on weekdays and then maybe 5 on a Friday and Saturday, with a day or two off sprinkled in. I wasn't out of control and was functioning at work. Does anyone have a similar experience they can share?
