I’ve been offered a three-month traineeship as an Accredited Parliamentary Assistant (APA) at the European Parliament, which I’m incredibly excited about. It feels like a huge opportunity to kick-start my career in politics.
The issue is that the MEP in question has very far-right views, which are completely at odds with my personal values. I don’t want to publicly identify them, but their ideology is something I strongly disagree with.
On one hand, I see this as a chance to learn and gain valuable experience in such a prestigious setting. On the other hand, I worry that by accepting this traineeship, I might end up being associated with the far-right, both professionally and personally, which could hurt my career or compromise my integrity.
I’d love to hear your thoughts—should I go for the experience or hold out for something more aligned with my values? Has anyone been in a similar situation? How did you handle it?

Hi all,
I own a townhouse with a 40 gal water heater located in the basement. Water pressure and temp are fine when we shower, although it usually takes a few min (1-2 min?) for the hot water to make it to our 2nd level master bath.
My wife will shower for a normal amount of time, maybe 10 min, and get out/shut the water off. If I wait just 2-3 min before I get into the shower, the water will first be somewhat hot, then it immediately gets freezing cold, and then after 30 seconds or so, it will start heating up again. After some basic google-ing I'm wondering if there's some kind of backflow/cross-connection issue elsewhere in the house?
For more context, there's also a 2nd floor full guest, bath, a downstairs half bath, and the kitchen. We face the same issue in the guest shower. Would appreciate any insight or advice!

Olá a todos, recentemente consegui meu primeiro emprego e recentemente comecei a estudar sobre investimentos. A parte de renda fixa está me confundindo um pouco, estou com algumas dúvidas que gostaria de perguntar aqui.
Vi que um ETF de renda fixa popular é o B5P211. Nos dados históricos dele vi que no dia 04/01/2021 ele fechou o dia cotado a R$67,85. Esse valor corrigido pelo IPCA para 10/2024 é R$85,86, mas atualmente a cota está por volta de R$92,00. Eu fiz uma equivalência da rentabilidade do título da seguinte forma: valor hoje = valor inicial * (1 + ipca + fix). Colocando os valores temos: 92 = 67,85 * (1 + 0,26539020 + fix), resultando em uma "taxa fixa de rendimento" de aproximadamente 9%. Ou seja, após quase 4 anos o ETF rendeu IPCA + 9%.
Aqui vem de fato a parte das dúvidas: Seria correto simplesmente dividir esses 9% por 4 para ter o rendimento ao ano? Pois assim, no meu entendimento, o rendimento seria IPCA + 2,25% a.a. Isso não parece baixo? Em comparação, no site do tesouro, o tesouro IPCA 2029 aparece a IPCA + 6,86% a.a.
Estou com dificuldades de entender quais as vantagens de investir em um ETF de renda fixa ao invés de investir diretamente em títulos de renda fixa, eu não estaria me expondo a riscos de renda variável com o retorno de uma renda fixa? Tenho certeza que eu devo estar passando algo, estou aqui para aprender, agradeço antecipadamente quem puder ajudar a esclarecer minhas dúvidas.

Salve Ho un conto con DeGiro che vorrei chiudere.
Il problema principale è il regime dichiarativo, ed il fatto che mi hanno sbagliato il modello pf in più occasioni.
Al momento sono in plusvalenza con le azioni che ho già venduto, mi resta solo AliExpress che è in minus ma cmq inferiore ai gain precedenti già chiusi.
Se vendo AliExpress non mi restano più titoli ma solo il conto corrente presso la banca tedesca dove si appoggia.
Quindi lascio un 50 euro, aspetto il prossimo anno il modello pf, sperando sia giusto.
Poi chiudo il conto perché è come se avessi un conto corrente estero con giacenza inferiore a 5k.
Tutto corretto?

I have been playing about with payload 3. I have min.io setup locally and have managed to setup the media collection to be stored in that with the s3 storage plugin.
What i cant work out is how to configure different collections to store in different locations.
eg. i might want the media collection to store in media/filename.ext and images collection to be stored in images/filename.ext. or i might want a documents collection to be stored in a completely different private bucket.
From what i can see, the bucket is defined at the global level rather than the collection, and i cant find a way to change the uploaded file to be anything other than just filename.ext at the root level of the bucket.
Am i missing something?

Does anyone know more of ElrichMC before. I learn he is the organizer of EliteCraft server and UHC Spain Server. He is both professional and a tryhard. I heard he mentored his friend companion Farfadox. Recently he got revenge on some French players Etoiles and Aypierre In Squid Craft 3 after what they did to him and KillerCreeper55 on UHC Spain 7 years ago base on his recent video. Both ElrichMC and Sapnap shared a similar goal was taking out the French and English respectively. ElrichMC killed Etoiles in The Night of Day 3. Then in Day 4 he and Farfa were in Team 5 and took out Team 10 which had 6 English players and 1 French player Aypirerre. It seems Elrich is also a member of Team Mafia.
Even in 2020, he won the Twitch Rivals Minecraft Bingo Challenge with Shadoune, Rubik, and KillerCreeper55. I also know ElrichMC did the Spanish voice of George in Dream's translation mod video.
