2024.11.25 14:38 Pedro_Francois Briggs Elite 10k watt voltage adjustment?

I have an older Briggs and Stratton Elitel 10000 watt generator with an 18hp v-twin and the voltage is a bit low. I get 115 per leg and 230 on the 50 amp plug that feeds our home. I have watched vids and read up on the process of adjusting the AVR that most generator seem to have. I am unable to find an adjustment point on the alternator of my generator. I haven't fully disassembled things because this is power outage season and I need to have things ready to go. I have opened the end f the alternatogenerator head and there is nothing accessible/serviceable. I opened the top where there are two capacitors and a connector of sorts. I have also not been able to find a full illustrated parts list or exploded view that clearly shows where the voltage regulator would be. Any help is appreciated.

(before anyone asks, yes, I've googled this first)
My dad passed earlier this year, so my mom is not interested in doing the normal Thanksgiving dinner since he usually did the majority of the cooking. I've done the normal Google search of restaurants open on Thanksgiving, but most of what you get is restaurants with a pre-set menu for a certain price. I've seen that most Red Lobster locations will be open, but my mom is not the biggest fan. I wanted to see if anyone had any ideas of restaurants open on Thanksgiving day, especially if you know of any Chinese restaurants that would be open (her preferred meal on that day). I plan on doing takeout for whatever we decide. Thank you in advance!

My eyes fluttered open, finding myself sprawled out on a couch in the governor’s mansion. My head pounded painfully, and I wondered if this was the aftermath of an extravagant party with some politicians. That would explain why I had zero recollection of my surroundings.
Grogginess ensnared me in a dizzy fog, and made my thoughts a muddled mess. My vision tunneled with my attempt to stand, twisting as though contorted through a kaleidoscope. As I fell back I felt something cold catch me.
“Be careful cutie, you’ve had a very long nap.” A soothing voice behind me spoke.
But as I turned around I saw only the horrifying crimson eyes of a predator staring back at me. Instantly I was frozen with fear. I trembled as its vile gaze burned into my very soul, as its pale hand began to glide across my wool, feeling me.
“Don’t worry, if I had wanted to eat you, you wouldn’t have woken up.” It spoke with both sincerity and amusement in its voice.
I remembered now, we were meeting with these
.things and their slaves at the behest of the governor despite my and Kam’s protests. Then it all went black. I could still see its partner’s horrible snarl in my mind right before I collapsed. I bet it was either one of them or that disgusting amphibian who knocked me out. Her lack of claws did little to dissuade my internal panic, I could feel her strength even through her subtle movements.
“Well, say something.” It poked me gently as it made its demand to me like the plaything I now was.
My mind raced with millions upon millions of questions. Yet one stuck out in particular. The federation fleet, it was on its way as far as I knew. What happened to it? Did it arrive? Did they slaughter it? Asking about might tip her off to its existence but I needed to know.
“D-did
 the fleet
 arrive?” I barely stammered, barely managing to get the words out. If she didn’t know what I was talking about then that would mean they hadn’t of come and we could still be saved.
“Oh they did and then they looked around for a bit and found, nothing.” She let out a predatory laugh after finishing that sentence.
No that’s impossible, the federation would have seen the subspace trail, they would have known SOMEONE was here.
“That’s the one of the beauties of nulspace travel, its trails dissipate within minutes as opposed to days, we can find others without being found ourselves.” She answered my question as if reading my mind.
Wait nulspace? Not only had these predators developed to become spacefaring in their own and subjugated other prey races but they had a totally unique form of ftl? It was over, we were left to a dark fate.
“Well that and the good governor did a great job covering for us.” She followed up her answer with a statement that only lead to more questions.
That revelation alone nearly sent me back into unconsciousness, I desperately searched the it’s hideous face for any signs of deception, that it was lying that the governor didn’t really intend to shelter predators. Whether it was these things of those amphibians they brought with them.
“Speak of the devil, here she is now.” It declared as I looked on in horror as Governor Tarva entered the room with an unusually calm Kam and the other vampire behind her.
Nothing could have prepared me for this, I wasn’t just frightened but confused, even more confusing was that Tarva and Kam appeared unharmed.
“Please don’t tell me he got a concussion and is struggling to speak.” Noah, the second beast spoke with what almost sounded like concern.
“His head did smack the pavement unfortunately hard,” Tarva replied. “I heard an audible thud.”
“Don’t worry we’ve been having a lovely conversation, though he clearly isn’t ALL right in the head.” Sarah, the creature lied through its teeth. The conversation wasn’t lovely at all.
“Can you put my advisor down now Sara
.please.” Tarva asked the beast politely with a hint of nervousness in her voice.
To my surprise the vampire complied with the governors request. I stumbled a bit as my feet hit the floor, and I still had a nasty headache. But I could walk on my own.

I had 2.5 YoE before my layoff back in October 2023, unfortunately things have not went well for finding a new Fullstack role since then. Im wondering how doable was it for some of you to pivot out of fullstack to something such as analyst roles or other IT roles.
Just need to consider other options during this downturn. School is another option for me if I can't find anything much further in 2025. Would appreciate some insights.
I mainly ever worked with: C#/.NET, React, Angular, Node, and Python

As an Eagles fan, I'm very conflicted about Nick's incoming bandwagon fandom Nick has been a chronic Eagles hater for years now. If hater is too strong a word, he at least has never given Philly the benefit of the doubt, frequently downplaying their consistent talent and success. I'll be the first to admit it hasn't always been unfair, especially after last year's collapse, but it was easy for him to provide cogent analysis about us sucking when he always thought we sucked.
I'm saying this all preemptively because I know how weird it's gonna be seeing him all dolled up in green today. Him adopting this take with the way he started the year talking about them (he had them on the same tier as the Jets) might be one of the hardest type 3 take pivots he's ever attempted.
