Does anyone have any leads on more affordable apartment complexes in the Marina Del Rey and Venice areas? I'm looking for a 1 bedroom on a safe street with in unit laundry, and would be amazing if it's walking distance to bars/ restaurants. Unfortunately I'll be moving from out of state/blindly so driving around to find signage isn't an option.Would love to hear any and all apartment recs you've had a good experience at. Thank you in advance!

I had bought the S23 Ultra at launch.
A few days back I had left my phone for charging overnight. I used to do this often and my 馃攱 protection was set to basic When I started to use my phone that morning after waking up, it started restarting on it's own, randomly.
Initially I ignored it, but the problem kept getting worse. The phone became barely usable as it would restart automatically after turning on.
I took it to a Samsung authorized service center where they told me that there was an issue with the motherboard and it would cost INR 40k to replace it. This price is half the cost of a brand new S23 Ultra in my country.
I decided against giving it to Samsung for repair and took it to a local repair shop who fixed the phone completely for just 6k. Been using it for a week now and the restart issue is completely gone.
It was a harrowing experience for me as I was initially planning to use this phone for at least 4 years. But now I think I will drop / exchange it much sooner.
TLDR - Don't charge your phone overnight and don't blindly trust Samsung.

Misty is simultaneously the best and worst card in the game.
It provides the only way to win on turn 1 before your opponent gets to move. When it works, even if you don鈥檛 win on the spot, you will have a significant advantage.
At the same time, it is often completely useless.
While this game is inherently very luck based, Misty seems like a step too far as it can take what little agency there is out of the game. Winning with Misty is like an act of God, making it both unfair and honestly not very satisfying to pull off. It almost feels like cheating when I get a win this way.
Of all the arguably broken cards in this game I think Misty is the most deserving of a rework, not because it necessarily dominates every game, but because of how it can swing matchups with a coin flip to such an extreme extent.

2024.11.25 15:00 InsaneFrink Should I change jobs even though that would leave my manager high and dry?
I work in IT for a 300ish person SAAS company. I had several direct reports up until recently. The company decided to shift focus from "internally facing" roles to "externally facing" ones. i.e. they laid off a bunch of support and IT roles and hired a bunch more sales people. All of the projects my boss and I wanted to do have essentially been shelved so that we can focus on making sure "the lights stay on." Which means I am essentially just doing tier 1 and 2 stuff; building laptops, punching tickets, etc. Its also a lot more stressful as I am running around a lot more trying to stay on top of all the tickets.
I have started looking at other jobs and have even started getting interviews. But now that I am in the process, I realize that if I leave; all of IT for our company would have to be handled by just my boss. At least until they hire someone else. I am currently being paid very well for only doing tier 1 and 2 stuff. Also, looking at the job market in my area, the vast majority of jobs that that I want have much lower salaries/benefits.
Any suggestions?
