Week 3 Flower(Day 47) Update: 2 Autoflowers – Sweet Mandarin Zkittlez XL
Hey everyone! Just wanted to share some updates and pics of my two autoflowers as they hit Week 3 of flowering. I'll dive into the specifics for each plant below, along with some photos.
Setup Details
Tent: 4x4 Huhu (shoutout to a friend for the hand-me-down).
Lighting:
Main light: AC Infinity Ionboard S33.
Supplemental light: Mean Well XLG 240 (currently used for two vegging plants I'll share later).
Ventilation:
4 budget fans.
Older inline fan with carbon filter.
Light distance/intensity:
Early veg: 80% at 14 inches.
Flower: 80% at 18 inches.
Watering: Hand-watering for these two. Future grows will use the autopot feature once roots are established.
Strain Info
Both plants are Sweet Mandarin Zkittlez XL by Sweet Seeds:
Genetics: Zkittlez x Sweet Mimosa XL.
Composition:
Indica: 57.5%
Sativa: 41.7%
Ruderalis: 0.8%
Height Range: 55–135 cm
Note: Amazon mistakenly sent me 7-gal pots instead of 5-gal, so I rolled with it. Back to 5-gal for the next run!
Plant 1: Jewel
Medium: Fox Farms Ocean Forest + Coco Chips (to improve aeration).
Observations:
The soil was too compact, which led me to switch future grows to a Coco Coir Organic mix.
Held nutrients for about 3 weeks, after which I supplemented:
Nutes: Alternating Cal-Mag and a Gaia Green/EWC mix.
Soil Recharge: Mikrobs every 3rd week for Gaia.
Jewel is the bigger, taller plant but has a more sativa-like structure.
Early flower nutrient deficiencies (fixed now), with better color and crystallization forming in the last 10 days.
Watering: RO water pH’d to 6.4, adjusted as needed to stabilize soil pH between 6.5-7.0.
Current Stats:
Soil pH: 6.7
Soil Temp: 73°F
TDS: 684 (feeding tomorrow)
Plant 2: Phoebe
Medium: Same as Jewel (Fox Farms + Coco Chips).
Observations:
Topped at Day 13, though I may have done it a bit early given her size.
Bushier, indica-like structure.
No visible nutrient issues so far, with thick and pretty buds forming.
Watering: RO water to maintain safe pH levels.
Current Stats:
Soil pH: 6.8
Soil Temp: 73°F
TDS: 435 (fed Mikrobs & Cal-Mag last watering, expecting higher runoff numbers soon).
Final Thoughts
This is my first attempt at growing autos after years of cultivating photos, and I’m amazed at how fast they flower (Week 3/4 still feels wild!). The plan is to stock up with these 6 autos and then switch back to photos for future grows.

I bought the bundle and tried using it a bit, and so far I'm disappointed.
There are many brushes, but they are too detailed and distinct to be truly useful.
For example, you can find grass planes with trees, instead of grass planes and trees separately,
Coastlines and cliffs are good, but you can't build a long coastline without repeating, and you can't make an island, because all these brushes are also fully detailed, so you can't rotate or mirror them.
It looks more like a puzzle intended to be put together in some particular way, not an instrument for creating a map.
It's a pity they don't offer refunds because the bundle is kinda useless for me.

There’s a shockingly common misconception of using an agility or strength base weapon is used to increase damage output, and thus the damage-to-healing aspect that MW and Hpal have, or just to increase damage from cat weaving. That’s an intuitively common trap.
In reality, all of the damage you do on those specs, down to and including auto attack, is driven only off of intellect, before your secondary stats come into play. Weapon damage and weapon swing speed are 100% irrelevant and cosmetic only for those specs. This also includes holy paladin’s use of Shield of the Righteous, as well as all damage done as resto Druid while cat weaving.

 | Good morning! I found these abandoned houseplants sitting next to our apartment dumpster about 8pm (fully dark). Their tags both say not to go below 65/62 degrees Fahrenheit, and lately my area is 30s-50s overnight, so I brought them inside. But what are they? Am I able to keep them alive? I have always been notoriously poor at plant care 🫣 I know the little one is an orchid, but not what kind. Its tag is much more helpful than the big one, "tropical plant," which I think is maybe some kind of monstera due to the natural-looking splits in the leaf (NOT the injuries). I know monstera plants are popular and gorgeous and huge but that's it. And I know that even seasoned plant people struggle with some orchids. So I'm very nervous that I am not the best person to have rescued these plants. Also, are they toxic to my cat? I have a dog and children as well but the cat seems the most likely to chew on a leaf should the urge strike. Right now I am keeping them on the kitchen counter beside my 20L gallon fish tank, which has an LED light for some aquatic plants inside (ones I personally selected as the easiest and hardiest options available, knowing my limits). I also have a desk in an office outside my home as a potential place for these to live. I'm about to leave for work, but I will be eagerly reading any comments on my break times, please do not fret if I am not able to answer right away 🥺 I appreciate any help!! P.S.
