Hi everyone, I am currently heartbroken, confused, and need some perspective. My now ex-girlfriend of 3 years broke up with me over something I still can't wrap my head around.
So, I’m really into cars—not just any cars, but cool concept designs that push the boundaries of what vehicles can look like. I’ve been experimenting with an AI tool that lets me create galleries of these futuristic concept cars, and I was genuinely excited about how well some of them were turning out. It’s like my creative outlet after work, and honestly, I thought she found it endearing.
Last weekend, we were at her place, and she saw my phone while I was uploading one of my car galleries to the app. She asked to see more, and I happily handed her my phone, excited to show off my creations.
Suddenly, she froze. She stumbled upon a gallery filled with images of girls. Not cars. Girls. I was just as confused as her because I never created that gallery. I didn’t even know it existed on my profile! I tried to explain that the gallery wasn’t mine—that the platform is open and anyone can share their work. I must have accidentally opened or interacted with it while exploring other users’ creations. Here is the gallery for the girls.
But she didn’t believe me. She was convinced that I had some secret obsession with AI-generated models and was "hiding something." No matter how much I tried to show her my car galleries, explain the app, or even let her scroll through my entire account history, she was stuck on the idea that I was lying.
She stormed out that evening, and two days later, I got a message saying she "couldn’t trust me anymore" and that it’s best we go our separate ways.
Now, here I am, wondering if I messed up by not being careful enough with the app or if this was an overreaction on her part. My friends are split—some say she overreacted, while others say this might have just been a build-up to bigger trust issues in the relationship.
I loved her, and it hurts that something so trivial (at least to me) ended us. Do you think I could have done something differently? Was I wrong to expect her to believe me?
Also, side question—should I even bother trying to win her back? My mom says "beta, she overreacted" but my best friend says "girls don’t usually leave unless they’re really hurt."
I’d appreciate any advice. Thanks for reading. 😞

2024.11.25 17:29 InactiveDirectory Docker Desktop Upgraded and now Complains of being Unable to update WSL
Hello, I recently updated a machines Docker Desktop version to latest.
When launching I am greeted with this message:

I cannot run wsl --update since this machine has no internet access.
I have tried going to this page and downloading the latest Kernal and running it. Manual installation steps for older versions of WSL | Microsoft Learn
I have also tried going to Microsoft’s GitHub and installing the latest release manually via .MSI - Release 2.3.26 · microsoft/WSL · GitHub
If I run wsl --version I see that it is correctly installed as version 2.3.26
After finally rebooting the issue is still not resolved and I get the same in the screenshot above.
Any ideas?
Edit: the only thing that fixes this is rolling back the version of Docker Desktop, but obviously that’s not sustainable.

Ich möchte mir meinen ersten PC konfigurieren + zusammenbauen.
Der PC soll zukunftssicher sein und später mit einer Grafikkarte nachgerüstet werden können. Mit dem PC soll programmiert werden, zocken ist erst einmal nicht so relevant (erst wenn die GraKa nachgerüstet wird). Ich habe außerdem noch einen 1440p 165Hz Monitor, der bei Spielen aber nicht unbedingt ausgereizt werden muss.
Ich habe mir mal eine Konfiguration zusammengebastelt und würde gerne eine zweite (oder dritte) Meinung dazu haben, ob etwas unsinnig ist oder etwas vergessen wurde. Das System basiert auf dem AM5 Sockel, damit es eben zukunftsfähig ist. Der PC soll möglichst um 550€ kosten, besser noch 500€.
Bei der Graka habe ich an eine RX 7600 o.ä. gedacht.

2024.11.25 17:29 Daldric Just meal prepped for the first time, the chicken was amazing out of the over but once reheated I can barely swallow it.
So I made these chicken breasts where I stuffed them with ham and provolone then I baked them with breadcrumbs and stuff. When they came out it was amazing, I would have been happy to get that at a restaurant. I portioned them out and put them in the fridge.
Two days later and I pulled the chicken out and air fried it and immediately I could tell. It had this gross chickeny taste. I've tasted it at a few different places and I've just avoided it but this makes me mad. I thought that taste was a biproduct of freezer burn, or maybe being over cooked but mine was cooked perfectly.
Do I just have a knack for sensing the chicken taste? Should I just meal prep with a different protein?

So there's a really catchy BBC Sherlock fan song I can't get out of my head, but haven't been able to find for years now. I have tried every single type of search I could think of. I just can't find it and I've officially given up. This is a reddit account I made for this purpose, with a random username (which is why it looks blank and has no info on it.) I've already posted similarly in Sherlock, but I've had no luck so far.
Here's everything I can remember about the song.
1 - I first heard it in 2017-18 but I think it's a lot older than that. Probably from when the show was first popular.
2 - It was called Miss Me and was about Jim Moriarty. (I'm not sure if the correlation between these two things counts as a spoiler for those who haven't watched BBC Sherlock, but if it should be spoiler tagged... Let me know. I can fix it and repost.)
3 - I remember these lyrics: “Show off come and get it / if you think you can take it / gonna redefine what it means to be crazy” There was obviously more, but that's what I've got stuck in my head.
4 - I remember that the singers were three girls. At least one of them had glasses. Two or more of them had brown hair. I don't remember what they called themselves, but maybe it had 3 in the name. 3 Cs? 3 Cellos? 3...something. Maybe. I'm not 100% sure of this.
5 - The video thumbnail had a rubix cube or a similar cube in it.
