This isn't much but something I've just noticed, when Val leaves wall, she is given a one eyed horse
Val waited by the gate in the predawn cold, wrapped up in a bearskin cloak so large it might well have fit Sam. Beside her was a garron, saddled and bridled, a shaggy grey with one white eye. Mully and Dolorous Edd stood with her, a pair of unlikely guards. Their breath frosted in the cold black air."You gave her a blind horse?" Jon said, incredulous."He's only half-blind, m'lord," offered Mully. "Elsewise he's sound enough." He patted the garron on the neck."The horse may be half-blind, but I am not," said Val. "I know where I must go."There are plenty of one eyed characters in the story, although Jon has both his eyes could perhaps be considered one on account of Orell attacking his eye and giving him a scar.
Jon turned at the sudden sound of wings. Blue-grey feathers filled his eyes, as sharp talons buried themselves in his face. Red pain lanced through him sudden and fierce as pinions beat round his head. He saw the beak, but there was no time to get a hand up or reach for a weapon. Jon reeled backward, his foot lost the stirrup, his garron broke in panic, and then he was falling. And still the eagle clung to his face, its talons tearing at him as it flapped and shrieked and pecked. The world turned upside down in a chaos of feathers and horseflesh and blood, and then the ground came up to smash him.The next he knew, he was on his face with the taste of mud and blood in his mouth and Ygritte kneeling over him protectively, a bone dagger in her hand. He could still hear wings, though the eagle was not in sight. Half his world was black. "My eye," he said in sudden panic, raising a hand to his face."It's only blood, Jon Snow. He missed the eye, just ripped your skin up some."Considering Starks in general, including Jon, are horse faced and sometimes called horseface like in the case of Arya, could Val riding the half-blind horse and knowing where to go have anything to do with her relation with Jon?
Lord Commander Jon "know-nothing" Snow is half-blind but Val knows where they (wildlings, watch or even their personal relationship) must go and will lead him towards that direction?

This is just my personal opinion. But, it’s my belief that if you REFUSE to work then you shouldn’t have “bills”.
You shouldn’t be able to sign a contract with a phone company to purchase new phones and sign a contract for phone service and internet service. There is no assurance that you have a means to pay.
I know I’m beating a dead issue, but I will never understand how his enablers aren’t asking common sense questions?
Austin, why are you spending money we donated (to help you survive) on fast food instead of groceries?
Austin, why are you spending money on a guitar that you can’t play that is now just collecting dust in a room somewhere in that house instead of saving it for the phone bill you can’t afford?

Ciao a tutti, sono un ragazzo di 24 anni, a marzo di quest anno ho comprato una Cupra Leon 1.4 e-Hybrid 245cv usata a 27k.
Inizialmente l'ho scelta perchè mi sembrava un ottimo compromesso per avere potenza a costi ridotti, cosa che poi si è rivelata abbastanza falsa a parer mio (chiedo a voi un'opinione essendo la prima macchina che mantengo).
Considerando che percorro in media 1900km al mese (calcolati da quando l'ho presa ad oggi) mi viene a costare circa 120/180 euro di benzina (dipende dal tipo di strade che faccio, a volte faccio due pieni e altre volte ne faccio tre) + 100 euro di corrente elettrica al mese, per un totale di 220/280 euro di benzina/corrente.
Chiedo a voi, sto veramente risparmiando rispetto ad altre macchine un minimo sportive o alla fine dei conti è solo un'illusione? Facendo due conti rapidi mi sembra di spendere come spenderei per una macchina che fa i 15km/l, a quel punto allora la venderei per prendere un i20n, molto più divertente, leggera e soprattutto è un tipo di macchina destinato a sparire tra qualche anno.
Altro punto a sfavore dell'attuale Cupra sono le gomme veramente costose date le dimensioni, sono R19 235/35 e da quello che mi sembra di vedere per via dell'elettrico e del peso se le mangia.
Per vostra esperienza personale, con una macchina come una i20n (o volendo una GT86, sarebbe la macchina dei sogni ma da mantenere è tutt'altra storia) spenderei di più rispetto a quello che spendo ora o addirittura andrei a risparmiare, ma avendo una macchina molto più divertente?

Are there random armor drops, or is it scripted? I stealth killed a soldier and got a pretty decent suit very early in the game, but haven't been able to repeat it since. Every once in a while, I'll get armor from an encounter, but those seem scripted and repeatable.
I'm wondering if my one time stealth kill perfect armor drop was just a gift from the Zone?

I have 3.10 years of experience as an SAP ABAP developer. I left my job in July, 2024, because I wasn’t getting growth opportunities, and there wasn’t enough support for me to improve or learn. In hindsight, I realize it was a mistake to leave without another offer lined up.
Now, it’s been over 4 months, and I’m actively job hunting. I’ve even made it to the second round in some interviews, but I haven’t been selected yet.
I’m feeling stuck and need advice on what to do next: 1. Should I keep focusing on applying and interviewing for jobs? 2. Should I invest time in certifications or training? If yes, can you recommend any good institutes that offer hands-on exposure? 3. Should I consider doing a master’s degree? If yes, which field would be best to stay within SAP, but maybe not as a developer? 4. Should I look into SAP BTP or SAP Fiori training? Would it help me get better opportunities?
I’m open to changing my field from SAP to any new and emerging technology where there will be strong job opportunities and demand for at least the next 5 years. I am okay with studying, researching, or even doing a master’s, but I want to ensure my investment pays off well and leads to a stable, good job by 2026.
I’m very confused about what steps to take right now and would appreciate guidance from anyone with experience or advice in this area.
