2024.11.25 15:19 Aggravating_Math_623 Loaded Latency and Network Jitter - No Improvement
 | Ever since the update that displays graphs "when network conditions are poor", this graph is almost always on after round start. I tested loaded latency here: https://www.waveform.com/tools/bufferbloat And I noticed I had significantly higher ping under loads (>100ms). Thinking this might be causing the jitter graphs hearing that packets in CS2 subtick are much larger than in CSGO (not sure how much though), I went down a rabbit hole trying to lower my loaded latency. - I plugged directly into my modem, and my scores didn't improve. - I called my ISP, and they moved me to a 500 Up/Down plan. No improvement. - I purchased a router with SQM (eero pro, running CAKE), and it brought my results from a C to a B, but nothing changed from a jitter graph standpoint. - Then I watched the KhorvieTech video on reducing buffer bloat, and although it took a hit on speed, I was able to get an A+ on the bufferbloat test, seeing only marginal differences between loaded/unloaded latency: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RSeINf1t_p4&ab_channel=KhorvieTech Going into CS2, I still experienced the same constant network graphs indicating "conditions are poor". I really thought this might be something related to loaded latency, since it doesn't sound like other players experience constant jitter graphs, but now I'm at a loss on how to diagnose, let alone solve, this problem. Hi everyone, I’m working on a small project where I’d like to measure the voltage of a solar cell and display it on a screen. Could anyone guide me on how to connect the solar cell to a display to show the voltage? Do I need specific components like an ADC or microcontroller for this, or is there a simpler way? Any advice or circuit suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Me and my friend were going for round 100 on liberty falls but on round 45 he had a bug where he couldn't swap weapons, reload or even interact with anything. He even downed himself to fix it but no, so we just left. Now the same happened me on solo at round 30 and it's annoying. I saved and quit but didn't join the game back so i don't know if that fixed it or not, they need to fix this.

There’s a walking trail close to where I live that’s covered in sticks and branches and even logs from the storm. I could probably spend an afternoon and clear it out, but I would just be throwing all of the stuff into the bush along the trail. Do you know if somebody usually comes along and actually hauls off all of the trees and branches?? is this just everybody’s job or is there a crew?

My grandma wants a robot vacuum to keep her apartment clean between cleaning lady visits. I have a Roborock that I LOVE, but worry the app won’t be intuitive for someone who’s 80+ years old (and I’d prefer not to be troubleshooting it all the time).
Any advice on which robot vacuum has the most intuitive app for regular maintenance cleaning? Even if it’s not the best vacuum of all time.
To be clear, we’ll get it set up for her, but she should (hopefully) be able to use it independently after that.

I have Inovelli Blue fans connected via ZHA in Home Assistant.
If I set my fan to “low”, then turn the fan off, turning the fan on using the fan control toggle will ALWAYS turn the fan on at “medium” speed. It ignores that my previous setting was at “low”. The issue is the same if my previous fan setting was at "high".
No matter what the previous setting, if you turn on the fan remotely from Home Assistant (not using the physical switch), it turns on at “medium” speed. When using Google Assistant as well, it starts at medium; because Google Assistant routes through Home Assistant.
I asked about this on the Inovelli forums, and someone said it's an issue with ZHA, not Inovelli switches. Is this issue confirmed?

I currently work but would like to achieve my dream of being a pilot. I'm done just admiring them.
I work in the UAE and would like to learn. Does anyone have any advice or pathways I can take to achieve this goal (I'd like to eventually fly for an airline). I know it might take longer for me but I'm okay with that.
I'd just like to talk to someone other than a flight school/company. I've only been on websites so far I figured reddit is community is awesome so I'll try here first.
