I stumbled across this profile lately and I guess I was late to the party. Ohhh man!! The profile feels meditative, blissfully calm and super peaceful. I just scrolled the whole account in a go, and trust me, Vadakkunnathan amabalathil ninn irangi vanna feel :) Sry, I didn't mean to be cringey. I've always struggled with self love, and the way he loves himself and strives to stay true to himself transcending his previous lapse, is highly contagious.
Over the period of time, we can actually see the energy difference in his style of cooking, editing, dancing. Makes me truly believe in the power of consistency and heartfelt efforts.

2024.11.25 17:40 fortunesoulx I am so anxious and need some reassurance about a 2nd round interview
I interviewed last Tuesday for a role and I feel like the interview went really well. It felt more like she was trying to sell the company to me (a medical start-up founded in 2017), and we only really talked about me at the very end (in a good way, not in a "I'm not interested in hearing about you" sort of way lol)
She told me I'd be a good fit not just for the position I had applied for, but another one that wasn't externally posted anywhere until the day after my interview and that basically whichever one I wanted to interview for was my pick. I ended up choosing the one she brought to my attention, as it seems like a much better fit for someone as introverted as me. She tried really hard to get me a virtual interview with the team lead I'd be working under before she left for vacation, but ultimately it wasn't possible. She also was talking about how fun it is to work with the team lead and the other girl recently hired for the same position I was. At the end of the call when we were thanking each other for our time she said she was "looking forward to working with me," which I am trying SO hard not to read into.
Their website states this is what you can expect for their interview process (paraphrasing):
- You interview with the talent lead virtually
- Should it feel like it's an initial fit for both sides, you're invited on-site for an in-person interview
- Offer
We discussed compensation in my initial interview and she told me the max for this role is a little under what I've been applying for (about $3/hr less) but I told her it's more than okay, especially considering the job is a hybrid role after a period of training.
Just looking for some reassurance, I guess, that these ARE all positive signs, especially combined, and that I'm not just reading into things. I would ideally like to reach out to the talent lead (she gave me her phone number to text to try to coordinate the virtual meeting and for questions) about next steps, but I don't want to come across as desperate and anxious as I actually am. I'm extremely confident in my ability to do this job and it seems to me they see that ability as well. It's just this job ticks so many boxes for me that it feels too good to be true.
I know nothing is set in stone until you have a job offer and are working the first day. I am just so tired, and I feel like my experience with her has been such a contrast to my other interview experiences that it's a little difficult not to be hopeful. I'm trying so hard not to be hopeful because I already know how I'll feel if it doesn't go well, and I don't want to feel even worse since I already feel worthless and unwanted.
I'm sorry this is so long. I'm just so frustrated with trying to find a job. There's more as to why I feel I'm such a strong fit for this role (vs other jobs I was a fit, but maybe not a strong one) but this is long enough

Everything looks alright in Bambu Studio but I haven't even paid proper attention that it wasn't going to print the walls of my custom vase. So I got a Mars 5 Ultra and have had nothing but issue after issue with it.
On the first test print with out of box specs, the Rock stuck to the FEP. I accidentally damaged the FEP trying to get it off, so I purchased a pack of FEP from Elegoo and replaced the FEP.
After several more failures, I ended up with my bottom layer set all the way to 85 seconds with 10 base layers to get it to stick. I also had to adjust my normal layer exposure to 4.2 seconds to get the full print to work, but after several attemps it printed using the Elegoo 8k standard resin.
Next print of the latest cones of calibration failed. Cleaned tank (tore another FEP and replaced) and tired again. Success, even got the regular exposure time down to 3.6 seconds but still had to have the base at 85.
I have since manually leveled the print head, tried the WD40 on the Fep trick, tried the washers under the plate adjustment screws, cleaned everything multiple times, sanded the build plate, switched resin to ABS like 3.0 and am still having issues. I can get the cones of calibration to print, but basically nothing else. I have gotten 2 minis (my primary use) to print successfully but have had dozens of failures. Including damaged FEP allowing resin to leak into the machine that I then had to remove the back and side plates to clean, twice. The resin sticks to the LCD due to the leaks in the FEP, and I have had to very carefully scrap the resin off the LCD to avoid damaging it.
I am at a loss. Other than the base exposure and layer count and the normal exposure time settings, I have not changed anything else. I feel like I must be doing something wrong as no one seems to need to go to 85 seconds to get prints to stick. And almost no one seems to have to use a normal exposure time of 3.6 seconds. I'm starting to think there is an issue with the machine itself as I have followed every piece of advice I can find to resolve these types of issues. It is very discouraging to have gotten the 2 minis printed (they look very good, though I feel like they should be better) and each time thinking "Okay, I've got it dialed in" only to have the next print fail. I'm not having the build plate issue (though again, 85 seconds seems way high) anymore but the prints fail part way through every single time. I've now gone through 5 FEP sheets total due to punctures from the failed prints even with emptying and cleaning the tank between any failed prints.
Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. I've emailed Elegoo support but have not heard back. I don't want to give up on this hobby (I am a DM of a long running 5E campaign and being able to print the actual monsters my party faces is why I wanted to get into this), but I am at my wits end.
Thank you for any advice you can give. I can't upload pictures at the moment of the failed prints, I'm typing this one my lunch hour at work.

I have always dreamed of making a game, especially like skyrim or botw, I want to make a game like thin in an open world fashion, but I can't hire people or get in a business, I know making something like the game I want to make will take 2-12 years depending on how and how much, but I'd really like it, would it be way off possible scopes?
