2024.11.25 16:30 Brilliant_Ad_6652 Any tips?
Hi all,
I’ve been dealing with sinus issues a good portion of my life. Mostly related to spring allergies with pollen, absolutely brutal. And doesn’t help when I live in the woods of New Hampshire.
Recently though my sinuses have been worst. I am constantly waking up with congestion, blowing my nose (it’s clear color mucus). Also have to deal with my ears popping constantly and them being full. And don’t get me started on the pressure I feel in my head and face.
I usually take xyzal to help with my seasonal allergies and it works alright. But I shouldn’t be getting this constantly. I am IGA (immune) deficient and I have an appointment next week that may address possible allergies.
For the moment I’m doing a bunch of sinus drainage excercises/massage techniques to try and help. Anyone else have any other ways to temporarily help with built up pressure?

Hey everyone,
I’m planning to apply for the short film pitches at MIFA next year! It’s my first time, and while I’m super excited, I’m also pretty nervous. I’ve been digging into the pitch requirements, but it’s tough to find solid tips and resources to help beyond the basics.
Here’s where I’m at so far:
- No producer yet
- Materials I have: Script, Animatic with custom music, concept art, color keys, a treatment (synopsis, project summary, etc.), and a vertical slice (created in Blender).
- Experience: I’ve applied to other funding opportunities and pitches with varying success, but MIFA feels much more extensive than anything I’ve tackled before, especially with my limited experience in the budget+production planning section.
- How long did the application process take you?
- Any tips for standing out during the application?
- How did you approach producers, and what helped your project resonate with them?
- Any pitfalls to avoid?

I didn’t necessarily want to buy another gun right now, but the future is uncertain and, well, here we are. Benelli SuperNova Tactical 12-gauge pump-action shotgun with 18” barrel and 4+1 capacity. Basically, I got my first DUI about 5 months ago. I was due to serve 2 days in jail and just now found out that was supposed to happen a month ago (says on the original paperwork) but my lawyer had sent me a different paper to print and bring with me that said a different date (in about a week). Will I get in trouble for this? Anyone have an experience like this?

My apartment complex offers free internet as one of my amenities. I pay $20-30 extra however because I stream and need a stronger signal.
After the last hurricane the signal was weak so I kept taking the test online to find out if that would help. It did not so they sent a technician out. He did something and fixed it and I have not had any problems since.
Imagine my surprise.that I was charged $100 for the visit. And they told me that I needed a new gateway box and that was what was causing the problem. We'll that was sometime in September and I still have the same old box and have not had to replace it.
Have had no other problems since then.
I have called them several times to ask Xfinity to remove that charge and they have informed me that they would. For the past 4 weeks I have had to call back and will get someone that says that they will have ot removed. It has not happened yet. Matter of fact I have still made payments and it is still not removed.
Who can I talk to here in the US that can look into this and give me resolution? My internet has been suspended and I have done everything they have asked me to do but I will not pay the charge of $100 where they say "the problem was my fault".
